- Page 3 1 About SUPER 7 Overview The SUPER 7 for SUMOMAX is the smart and elegant way to set up SUMOLIGHT’s famous SUPER 7 arrangement of our characteristic hexagonal luminaires. The modular and easy to assemble design incorporates industry standard connectors and dimensions to allow for a wide variety of use cases while allowing both standing and hanging mounting.
- Page 4 Mounting and Placement Do not place the SUPER 7 on an unstable surfaces. The SUPER 7 shall be secured when stored or handled only by qualified professionals. The SUPER 7 may fall causing serious injury and serious damage to the product. Any mounting and installation of the SUPER 7 should follow the manufacturer's instructions.

- Page 6 SUPER 7 USER MANUAL 3 Setup and Operation Preparation After Unpacking Assemble the handle bar on both ends of Crossbar. In Preparation for Setup Lock handles tightly in position on both ends of Crossbar.
- Page 7 SUPER 7 USER MANUAL Setup Aligning the Junior Pins Ensure that the Junior Pins on both sides of the Crossbar are positioned parallel. Attaching Crossbar to Yoke Attach Crossbar to Yoke by inserting the Junior Pins simultaneously into the respective receptacles.
- Page 8 Preparation The setup should be performed by a minimum of 2 trained personnel. Ensure the SUPER 7 is attached to a structure or stand that is rated for a minimum weight of 140 kg (310 lb). Ensure that the Junior Pin and the Yoke are plumb regardless of if it is mounted on a stand or hung from above.
- Page 9 Second and third SUMOMAX Proceed by attaching the next two SUMOMAXes below the first one. (The second and third SUMOMAX should be mounted below the first one even when the SUPER 7 is hanging.) Lock the SUMOBENs as shown above.
- Page 10 SUPER 7 USER MANUAL Fourth and fifth SUMOMAX Proceed by attaching the next two SUMOMAXes to the sides of the first one. Lock the SUMOBENs as shown above. Sixth and seventh SUMOMAX Proceed by attaching the last two SUMOMAXes above the first one.
- Page 11 Operation Operating Pan and Tilt When operating the Super 7, it is advised to tighten one side of the Crossbar handles to a position where it will act as a drag control. The other side (where the pan handle ends) would then be the tilt and pan control side.
