CHARGER PLUG-PRONG ADAPTER USER GUIDE

INSTALLATION
A Connecting Charger Plug Prong Adapter
The Plug Prong Adapter plugs into the appropriate port on
your telephone system. It is a universal adapter, and may be
inserted so that either labelled side is visible. (Fig A.1)

To set the volume control to the listening level most
comfortable for you, start with the wheel turned to number 1,
the lowest level. To increase the volume rotate the wheel to a
higher number. (Fig B.1)

SAFETY INFORMATION
The headset adapter is suitable for use with any Plantronics
H series Ultra headset.
The Charger headset adapter is powered via the transmit lines
by the host equipment. The standard operating current range for
the headset adapter is 15mA to 100mADC.
Caution: This headset adapter may not operate
satisfactorily with all types of telephone apparatus.
The telephone supplier should be consulted. The host
equipment must contain a port that meets one or both
of the following:-
• A port circuit that is a Safety Extra Low Voltage
(SELV) circuit.
• A port circuit that is a Telecommunications Network Voltage
(TNV) circuit that is not user accessible as defined in EN60950.
It is strongly recommended that the telephone handset be
rendered inoperative when the headset is in use.
