LUMOS UV+ POLICE ISSUE DUAL TORCH
Professional Performance LED/UV Torch
Introduction
The Defender Lumos UV+ is a high performance handheld torch, possessing both a powerful
230 lumens white light and an illuminating 365nm UV LED beam.
Built to the same rigorous standards as the original police-issue Defender Lumos LED, the Lumos
UV+ is the perfect all-rounder, with the UV beam detecting SmartWater® and SelectaDNA®.
The high quality performance is complemented by a user-friendly design and grip, along with a
uniform-ready Molle pouch and convenient magnetic base for securing the torch in times of
need. A built-in lithium battery is easily recharged using the USB input on the bottom of the torch,
with a 1m cable also supplied.

Operation
Both functions are operated using the dual button on the barrel of the torch.
White Light
• From off - Click the button marked 'W' for full brightness at 230 lumens.
- Click the button marked 'W' a second time for half the brightness at 115 lumens.
- Click the button marked 'W' a third time to turn the torch off.
• For strobe function - Press and hold the button marked 'W' for 3 seconds to begin strobe*.
• To turn off the white light torch in any mode, single click the 'UV' button.
UV light
• To operate the UV function, press and hold the button marked 'UV'.
• To turn off the UV light, release the 'UV' button entirely.
Note: Operating or single clicking the 'UV' button will turn off the white light operation.
