INSTALLAZIONE E SOSTITUZIONE DELLE BATTERIE
1 Aprire il coperchio del vano batterie posto sul retro dell' e tilometro.
2 Inserire 2 pile alkaline di tipo "AAA" 1,5V / UM-4
(non incluse nella confezione) rispettando la polarità indicata.
3 Chiudere il vano batterie con il coperchio.
4 Quando il display LCD si a evolisce, sostituire le vecchie batterie.

BATTERY INSTALLATION & REPLACEMENT
1 Open the battery compartment lid on the back of the unit.
2 Insert 2 "AAA" (UM-4) high-quality alkaline batteries
(not included) with correct polarity as indicated.
3 Close the battery compartment lid.
4 When the LCD Display starts to dim, please replace old batteries.

2 Sullo schermo apparirà la scritta "WAIT" (attendere) che durerà 10
secondi. Terminato tale periodo sarà possibile e ettuare il test.
Nota: Il sensore assorbe molte impurità e gas presenti nell'aria durante i periodi di
inutilizzo. Quindi è opportuno ripetere la fase riscaldamento diverse volte prima di
e ettuare il test.
4 TEST TASSO ALCOLEMICO
1 Dopo la fase di riscaldamento, sullo schermo apparirà la scritta
BLOW accompagnata da un segnale acustico, ad indicare che
l' e tilometro è pronto per la rilevazione. Inizierà il conto alla
rovescia da 10 a 0, questo signi ca che è in atto la modalità Prova.

4 L' e tilometro emetterà un segnale acustico se la concentrazione di alcool

5 Se il tester non rileva alcun so o durante la fase di prova (Blow),
sullo schermo apparirà il valore "0,000". Per ottenere un risultato
più attendibile, è consigliabile ripetere il test 2 o 3 volte.

HOW TO USE THE BREATHALYZER
Warm up
1 Press and hold the
5 power button for 2
seconds, the LCD will
turn on with one
beeping sound.

2 The"WAIT" symbol is displayed, and the 10 to 0 countdown is started that indicate
the tester is in warm-up mode.
Note: The sensor absorbs many impurities and gases present in the air when not in
use. Therefore, it is advisable to repeat the warm-up phase several times before
carrying out the test.
TEST
4
1 The BLOW symbol is displayed on the screen, followed by a beep, indicating
that the warm-up phase is nished and the alcohol tester is ready for use.
The countdown from 10 to 0 will start, this means that the tester is in
the testing mode.

2 Bring the tester closer
and blow into the
breath inhaler for
about 3-5 seconds.
3 After a second beep
it will be possible to
read the result on
the screen.
4 The alcohol tester will emit an acoustic signal if the alcohol
concentration is equal or higher than 0,050% BAC (0,50‰
BAC or 0,250 mg/l BrAc).
5 If the tester does not detect any breath during the test
phase (Blow), the value "0,000" will appear on the screen.
To obtain a more reliable result, it is advisable to repeat
the test 2 or 3 times.

AUTOSPEGNIMENTO
Il risultato rimane
visualizzato sullo
schermo per circa 10
secondi, dopo di che
il tester si spegnerà
automaticamente
preceduto dalla
scritta OFF.
INDICAZIONE DI BATTERIA IN ESAURIMENTO
Se sullo schermo appare la scritta "LO", signi ca che la pila non ha abbastanza
energia per e ettuare il test e si spegnerà automaticamente.
É necessario sostituire le pile.
MESSAGGIO DI ERRORE
La scritta "Err" lampeggiante sul display
indica un errore nel sensore e il dispositivo si
spegnera automaticamente. Riavviare il tester.
FISSAGGIO DEL LACCETTO
1 Inserire l'anello piccolo nel foro posto nella parte superiore del tester.
2 In lare l'anello grande in quello piccolo e tirare.
RETROILLUMINAZIONE
Quando l'etilometro è acceso la retroilluminazione dello schermo LCD si accende no
a quando non entra in funzione l'auto-spegnimento.
PRECAUZIONI
É consigliabile attendere almeno 20 minuti dopo aver bevuto prima di e ettuare il
test, in quanto questo è il tempo necessario per l'assorbimento dell'alcol nel sangue.
Per un risultato più accurato, è meglio ripetere il test dopo almeno 3 minuti dal test
precedente. Non mangiare e non fumare per almeno 20 minuti prima di e ettuare il
test. Non pulire l'etilometro con benzene o altre sostanze chimiche. Non immettere
liquidi all'interno del sensore. Non usare sostanze chimiche e non usare il test in
prossimità di aria inquinata. Non sostituire o manomettere i componenti dell'apparecchio
per evitare malfunzionamenti. Questo articolo è stato progettato per essere un valido
aiuto per la promozione di una guida responsabile. Questo etilometro non è in grado
di rilevare il contenuto di alcol nel sangue o di qualunque altra sostanza stupefacente.
L'esito del rilevamento del tasso alcolemico è espresso in BAC solo come riferimento.
Il produttore non si assume nessuna responsabilità. Ogni individuo risponde in modo
diverso all'alcol. Una persona potrebbe essere riconosciuta inabile alla guida con un
livello di alcol nel sangue inferiore ai limiti di legge.

1 Insert the smaller loop into the hole in the housing.
2 Thread the longer loop through the eyelet and pull through.

When the tester is turned on, the LCD backlight will light until the tester auto powers o .
PRECAUTIONS
After drinking, it is recommended to wait at least 20 minutes, as it takes approx.
20 minutes for alcohol to be absorbed into blood from the digestive organs, and
residual alcohol remaining in the mouth takes this long to dissipate. For accurate
result, do not repeat next testing within 3 minutes after last time. Do not smoke and
eat for 20 minutes prior testing. Do not use chemicals such as benzene, thinner or
petrol to clean the tester directly. Do not pour liquid into the breath pipe. Do not
use any excitant substances near the tester, such as paints, insecticides,
alcohols. Do not place the tester in a closed environment with contaminated air.
Modifying or tampering with the unit's internal components may cause a
malfunction. The unit is designed to be used as an aid to promote reasonable driving.
It should not be used in anticipation of the use or operation of vehicles, machinery, or
equipment. The unit makes no references whatsoever to blood alcohol content or
other such measures of intoxication promulgated by government, medical or other
agencies or bodies. The result of this alcohol gives BAC for reference only, manufacturer
does not take any legal responsability. Each individual's body responds di erently to
alcohol. A person may become legally impaired to drive at a point below the legal
blood alcohol limit.
