Features and Function • Diesel Engine Air Filter: A clean air filter is critical to machine performance and life. The need to replace the air filter depends on the amount that the machine is used and the environment it is used in. During periods of heavy use, and/or a dirty environment, the filter should be checked before every use and changed if necessary.

Features and Function • Hydrostatic Pump Safety The hydrostatic pump circulates hydraulic oil from the hydraulic oil tank to the grinder wheel motor and valve bank manifold. The valve bank manifold WARNING! distributes the oil to the drive (propel) system, grinder arm, steering, and optional plow.

Features and Function • Valve Bank Controls Valve Bank Manifold Safety The grinder arm swing flow control knob regulates the grinder arm’s WARNING! freedom of movement. When the flow is completely open, the grinder arm can swing quickly from left to right. To reduce this freedom of swing, reduce the flow rate by turning the knob to the left.

Insert the tooth’s shank in to the pockets bore (see figure 1.) The shank will go into the pockets bore a short way before stopping. Before checking or replacing the grinder wheel teeth, shut down the machine and perform the lockout 3.
