GENERAL REQUIREMENTS The A.O. Smith SBT thermal store has been designed to operate trouble free for many years. These instructions should be followed closely to obtain the maximum usage and efficiency of the equipment. PLEASE read the instructions fully before installing or using the appliance. These instructions should be read in conjunction with the appropriate Heat pump installation manual.

COMMISSIONING AND TESTING Electrical Installation Any ancillary item that requires an electrical supply should be installed and commissioned as per instructions. Water Connection For design, see Section 6: Water connections The system should be thoroughly flushed out with water without any circulating pumps in position. Ensure all the valves are open.

MAINTENANCE General Regular servicing is required, to ensure trouble free operation. Even if a maintenance schedule is determined to be less than annually, it is important that all controls and safety features be checked for correct operation on an annual basis.

If within two years of the original installation date of a buffer tank supplied by A.O. Smith, following verification, and at the sole discretion of A.O. Smith, an assembly or part (with exclusion of the tank) proves to be defective or fails to function correctly due to manufacturing and/or material defects, then A.O.
Page 16: Scope Of The Warranty
A claim on grounds of the specified warranty must be submitted to the dealer from whom the buffer tank was purchased, or to another authorised dealer for A.O. Smith Water Products Company products. Inspection of the buffer tank as referred to in articles 1 and 2 shall take place in one of the laboratories of A.O. Smith. 10.7 Obligations of A.O.

ALGEMENE EISEN Het A.O. Smith SBT thermische buffervat is ontworpen om vele jaren probleemloos te functioneren. Deze instructies moeten nauwkeurig worden gevolgd om een maximaal gebruik en maximale efficiëntie van de apparatuur te verkrijgen. Lees EERST de instructies volledig door voordat u het apparaat installeert of gebruikt. Deze instructies moeten samen met de betreffende installatiehandleiding voor de warmtepomp worden gelezen.

ONDERHOUD EN TESTEN Electrische Installatie Elk bijkomend item dat een elektrische voeding nodig heeft, moet worden geïnstalleerd en in bedrijf gesteld volgens de instructies. ONDERHOUD Algemeen Regelmatig onderhoud is vereist om een probleemloze werking te garanderen. Zelfs als wordt vastgesteld dat het onderhoudsschema minder dan jaarlijks bedraagt, is het belangrijk dat alle bedieningselementen en veiligheidsvoorzieningen jaarlijks worden gecontroleerd op correcte werking. Indien binnen drie jaar na de oorspronkelijke installatiedatum van een door A.O. Smith geleverd buffervat, na onderzoek en ter uitsluitende beoordeling van A.O. Smith, blijkt dat de stalen tank lekt ten gevolge van roest of corrosie vanuit de waterzijdige kant, zal A.O. Smith een volledig nieuw buffervat van gelijkwaardige grootte en kwaliteit ter beschikking stellen.

Een claim gebaseerd op de gegeven garantie moet worden gedeponeerd bij de handelaar bij wie het buffervat is gekocht of bij een andere handelaar die de producten van A.O. Smith Water Products Company verkoopt. Het onderzoek van het buffervat bedoeld in de artikelen 1 en 2 zal plaatsvinden in een laboratorium van A.O. Smith. 10.7 Verplichtingen voor A.O.
