- Page 2 Introduction The MIDI Effects Switcher (MES-8) is a controller that can turn on and bypass audio effects controlled by MIDI. By learning MIDI messages, MES-8 can quickly control different effect switch combinations, up to 160 combinations. MES-8 can be controlled by a variety of MIDI devices, such as MIDI five-pin DIN devices, USB MIDI devices, and computers.
