PREFACE
The CANON ZOOM DS-8 is a professional quality cine camera using
'•Double Super-8" film (16mm) in 100 ft. rolls which makes 200 ft. of
Suner-S film. . The advantages of the Supcr-8 format with its larger,
brighter, picture is available in the Zoom DS-8 without the disadvantages
of the Supcr-8, cartridge, such as inability to rewind film for special effects
and short length of film.
This Repair Guide is issued tor the purpose of quality assurance and
standardization of repair methods used in the maintenance of the Canon
DS-8. This guide consist of Disassembly and Adjustment and Repair
sections.
