DUAL COMPARTMENT MOTION SENSOR TRASH CAN

This product is primarily designed for placement in areas such as kitchens and living rooms, serving the
purpose of collecting waste, and can also be used as a storage bucket.
Utilizing the principle of infrared sensing, this product controls the automatic opening and closing of the bucket
lid. When a person's hand or an object enters the sensing area, the bucket lid automatically opens. After the
user disposes of waste into the bucket, the lid closes automatically, eliminating the need for any contact with
any part of the sensing bucket.
This product is composed of components such as an infrared sensor, precision mechanical drive unit,
microcomputer control chip, and intelligent software. It represents a high-tech, innovative, and energy-efficient
product. The product consists of two main parts: the upper bucket and the lower bucket. It boasts reliable
performance, low power consumption, ease of use, hygiene, and an elegant appearance. The product is
designed for the classified disposal of waste, with the "R" symbol indicating recyclable materials.

Step 1 - Installing garbage bags:
The garbage bag (plastic film) is inserted into the central bale, with the
bag opening rolled towards the periphery of the bale. It is then placed
into the lower bucket and pressed tightly with the bale.
Step 2 - Installing batteries:
Press the power switch on the rear side of the upper bucket to the "O"
(off) position, open the battery cover, insert 3D batteries according to the
positive and negative polarity markings on the battery, replace the
battery cover, and press the power switch to the "I" (on) position. At this
point, the indicator light will illuminate for about 1 second, indicating that
the circuit system has entered normal operating mode.
Step 3 - Inductive lid opening:
When disposing of waste into the inductive bucket, simply enter the
waste or hand into the induction area, and the bucket lid will
automatically open upwards. After disposing of the waste into the
bucket, the lid will automatically close approximately 3 seconds after the
hand leaves the induction area, eliminating the need to touch any part of
the inductive bucket. If the hand or object remains in the induction area,
the lid will stay open.
Step 4 - Constant lid-opening function:
If you want the lid to remain open, simply press the right-side button of
the induction window (OPEN manual lid opening button), and the lid will
stay open without closing. This function is useful for frequent garbage
disposal. To close the lid, press the left-side button (CLOSE manual lid
closing button), and the circuit system will return to the automatic
induction lid opening program.
Step 5 - Indicator light indications:
• In standby mode, the indicator light is not displayed, and in constant
lid-opening mode, the indicator light is not displayed.
• During lid-opening actions and when an object is in the induction area,
the indicator light is solid green; after leaving, the indicator light blinks
three times to indicate imminent lid closure.
• When the battery is low, the indicator light shows a red status.

1. Align batteries according to the positive and negative poles.
2. Do not submerge the trash can into water because it is equipped with many electrical
components. The trash can may be wiped with a damp cloth.
3. Do not manually force the lid close; this can cause damage to the internal gears. If the
gears are damaged, the automatic lid will not function properly.
4. Replace used batteries in a timely manner to prevent battery acid leakage. Battery acid
may cause damage to the electrical components of the trash can.
5. Do not mix new and used batteries.
6. Do not place trash can in direct sunlight or a heavily moisturized environment.
7. Do not mix alkaline, standard (zinc-carbon), or rechargeable (NiCad, NiMH, etc) batteries.

What does this Warranty cover?
- This warranty covers the electronic mechanism of the lid such as the computer chip, motor, gear box

How long does the coverage last?
- This warranty is valid two years from the date of purchase.
What will Nine Stars do?
- Nine Stars will fix or replace any defective or malfunctioning lid.
- Customer is responsible for returning the defective or malfunctioning lid (entire top unit of the Trash
Can) to Nine Stars. The customer is also responsible for shipping charges to return the product to us.
Nine Stars will pay for shipping charges back to the customer if the lid is covered under our warranty
program outlined in this document.
What does the warranty not cover?
- The base of the unit, battery caps (if applicable), liner rings (if applicable), inner bucket (if applicable),

compartment or any problems with the automatic lid caused by abuse, misuse, or natural disasters (such as
earthquakes, floods and fires) are not covered.
- User's modifications or alterations to Nine Stars products will void User's Warranty.
- Only our authorized distributors will be covered under our warranty. We will NOT warranty products
purchased from auctions, auctioneers, discount/closeout stores.
How do you get service?
Follow these steps to be eligible for service under warranty

Troubleshooting
Solutions
- Make sure the power is on by pressing the power button.
- Check if the batteries are placed in correctly.
- Wipe the sensor with a dry cloth.
- Press the "POWER" button to close the lid.
- Check to see if there are any objects within the sensor
area. If there are, remove them.
- Wipe sensor with dry cloth to insure the sensor is clean
and that there is no excess moisture on it.
- Battery power is low. Replace the batteries.
