- Page 6 5.2. Sample Weight The weight of the sample affects the test time and the repeatability of the results. The maximum weight of the sample is 50g. The heavier the sample is, the more water is evaporated and the longer the test time is. In general, it is recommended that the sample weight is 3g-10g, which can get faster results, but there is a lack of measurement accuracy.
