1. If you require a standard pitch other than A 440Hz (the A above Middle C), select a standard pitch (A 433Hz – A 447Hz) using the PITCH but-
ton.
2. If you would like to tune your instrument down (i.e. for 6 string guitar E, A, D, G, B, E), press the FLAT button once for each half-step (semi-
tone) lower than standard pitch that you require. This will allow you to use the traditional string name (i.e. E, A, D, G, B, E) while utilizing a
lower pitch for those strings (i.e. E, A, D, G, B, E). Each time the FLAT button is pressed a flat mark () will be displayed in the LCD. The pitch
can be lowered up to 4 half-steps (semi-tones), or the equivalent of tuning a 6 string guitar down to C.
Alternatively, if you use Capo on your guitar, you can tune the guitar with the capo attached by using FLAT tuning function. Press FLAT but-
ton once for each fret above the nut that the Capo is attached (up to 4 frets).
A flat sign () will appear (up to four ) on the display each time you push the FLAT button. They representing how many half-steps the string
