Key Features
Unique steam vent and channel design: Unique steam vents and
channels allow this styler to be safely used on wet or dry hair.
The channels extract moisture from damp hair and allow steam to
escape through the vents, drying hair and sealing the cuticle at
the same time. Creates salon straight, shiny hair in less time, with
less damage.
Display:
The Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) indicates the heat setting nu-
merically and with a circle of bars. A steam icon appears when
you have selected a setting appropriate for use on damp to wet
hair settings 16 or higher. The LCD also has a background light
to help find the ideal setting by hair condition and type. A blue
light is best for dry hair, purple for damp hair, and red for wet hair.
The light changes from blue to purple to red as the heat setting is
increased.
Automatic shutoff:
This styler is equipped with automatic shut off. This safety feature
turns the unit off after 60 minutes, in case you accidentally leave it
on after styling your hair. Before turning itself off, the LCD will flash
for 10 seconds, giving you the chance to stop the shutoff process.
While the LCD is flashing, simply press the +/- button to use the
styler for another 45 minutes. If no button is pressed, the unit will
turn itself off when the LCD stops blinking.
Automatic worldwide voltage
This appliance contains a special electronic circuit that automati-
cally converts it for world wide usage–from 100 to 240 volts AC, 50
to 60 Hz. Just plug it into the local outlet and use it as normal; the
styler will automatically adjust to the local current. (You may need
an adapter to allow the plug to fit into the local outlets, however.)
