SAFETY NOTICE Accessory equipment connected to the analog and digital interfaces must be certified according to the respective IEC/EN standards and IEC 60601-1:2005+A1:2012 for medical equipment. Furthermore all configurations shall comply with the system standard IEC 60601-1:2005+A1:2012. Everybody who connects additional equipment to the signal input part or signal output part configures a medical system, and is therefore responsible that the system complies with the requirements of the system standard IEC 60601-1:2005+A1:2012.

Page 6 2.2 Safety precaution The Mediacam Pro as a medical instrument complies with the safety regulation IEC 60601-1. Safety is everyone’s obligation and responsibility. The safe use of this product is related to everyone such as installer, user, operator and equipment manager. Reading and learning this user manual is compulsory before installation, using, cleaning, fixing or operation of this product or its accessories.
Page 7 The user must ensure that that the instrument works properly and is in a satisfactory condition before each use. The Mediacam Pro is intended only for use in the dental office by dentists, dental hygienists and trained dental assistants. It is not permissible to use the product for a purpose for which it was not intended.

The sensor produces digital image data which is transmitted to the PC via USB. 2.6 Indication for use Mediacam Pro is designed for use in dental office by dentists, dental hygienists and trained dental assistants to provide the dentist and the patient with a view of the mouth before and after the dental procedure, which assists the dentist in describing the dental procedure being performed as well as showing the results.

◆ Using computer has to meet IEC60950-1 NOTE Mediacam Pro is designed to operate with the computer USB2.0 that meets IEC60950-1. Proper operation of the device is not guaranteed in the system that does not support USB 2.0. If your system does not meet our system requirements, we cannot guarantee the performance of the Mediacam Pro.
Page 16 NOTE In WINDOWS XP, Mediacam Pro may not be recognized. Install the holster in a place that is convenient and does not exceed the maximum length of the cable, which is 2.7 m. The holster should also be positioned so that the cable from the camera does not create a tripping hazard.

www.centaursoftware.com 5. Hygienic cover 1) Hold a hygienic cover and camera. 2) Gently slide the camera until the camera head reaches the tip of the cover. Do not force. PROHIBITION Do not use if the hygienic cover is torn. 3) Gently apply downward pressures to ensure that the sleeve is tight. The camera is now protective and ready for normal use.

www.centaursoftware.com 6. OPERATION 1) To use the camera, remove it from the holster and it will automatically turn on. The camera begins to send video images. PROHIBITION Do not touch the camera and cable with wet hands. CAUTION Be careful not to drop the camera. The internal precision optics may be damaged. WARNING Before using the camera, cover the camera with hygienic cover.
Page 19 www.centaursoftware.com 4) If you want to detach the cable of the camera, hold the marked part with your thumb and index finger and pull it in the direction of the arrow on the camera. 5) If you want to attach the cable to the camera, connect the cable to the camera in a straight line with the arrow mark on each device.

This guarantee does not cover damage resulting from improper installation, misuse, alterations, or accidents. After eighteen (18) months, CENTAUR SOFTWARE reserves the right to collect a reasonable fee from the Customer for services mutually agreed upon.
