NOTE! Before assembly it is recommended to
inspect all parts and if needed, sort them so
eventual "ugly" knots or similar are placed so
they are less visible.
Special attention must be paid to the following:
1. All wooden parts must be stored at a dry
location and be dry during assembly. Never
assemble in the rain or when humidity is
high. Wood is a living material and swells
when humidity is high.

NOTE! Before assembly it is recommended to inspect all parts and if needed, sort them so eventual knots or similar are used
so they are not readily visible. Assemble the sauna on a flat surface. Note part no.1 is not part of the package.
Place the stave with the cutouts up in the middle of the base
and screw it in place (holes are pre-drilled 35 mm) on both
sides. This shall be done on both sides.
Start placing out the staves, alternate between the shorter
(57cm) and longer staves (196 cm). This is what it shall look
like after a while. See last page for assembly principle!

Assembly instructions for Barrel Sauna

Assemble the base of the sauna, the parts fit into pre-milled
grooves. Screw the parts together (holes are marked, 55
mm) NOTE! See page 18 for SLD200035 base assembly
Screw the bottom stave in place on both sides (35 mm) NOTE!
This stave is 1cm shorter at each end for water drainage.
Adjust the staves so the groove is straight. Feel with your
fingertips to make sure the staves align properly.

  • Page 5 CHECKPOINTS NOTE! When 18 staves have been assembled from checkpoint 1 to the right, you have reached checkpoint 2 and from 1 to the left checkpoint 4! If the stave size is normal* and you have followed the assembly line and all staves are mounted tightly together (image B, page 2), then the flat outermost points should be between the control points shown in the image marked "Correct".

The center of the circle should be 32cm measured from the rear edge of the sauna. Now place the roof shingles over the hole without nailing them into place.

Otherwise rain water will run down under the shingles. Assemble the remaining shingles and nail them in place. Use a heat gun to activate the glue.

  • Page 13 Use the heat gun to glue the adhesive to the sauna and press the lowest shingles firmly against the sauna. It is not necessary to heat all shingles.   • Page 22 The stove pipe is pushed upwards and through the rubber cuff. The stovepipe is then adjusted so that it lies well against the stove. The upper rubber cuff must then be pulled upwards on the stovepipe so that a slope is formed for the rain. See page 13.
