Thank you for purchasing this radio-controlled wall clock with LCD. Developed and designed with innovative components and techniques, the
device allows you to read the time to the second, the indoor temperature, the date and the day of the week.
Please read the operating instructions carefully before using the appliance to familiarise yourself with its features and functions and keep them in
a safe place.
Commissioning
1.
Insert a new battery (1 x 1.5V, type AA/R6) into the battery compartment of the movement. Observe the correct polarity in the battery
compartment. The clock automatically runs to the "12 o'clock" position and stops there. The clock automatically searches for the radio-
controlled clock signal. As soon as this is received, it automatically sets itself to the correct time.
2.
Insert a new battery (1 x 1.5V, type AA/R6) into the battery compartment of the LC display. Observe the correct polarity in the battery
compartment. The display starts automatically. The setting can be found below.
Note: 2x AA batteries for the wall clock are not included.

LCD
1.
Press the SET button.
2.
The year starts to flash. Set the desired year by pressing the UP or DOWN buttons and confirm your selection by pressing the SET button.
3.
The month starts to flash. Set the desired month by pressing the UP or DOWN buttons and confirm your selection by pressing the SET button.
4.
The day starts to flash. Set the desired day by pressing the UP or DOWN buttons and confirm your selection by pressing the SET button.
5.
The 12 or 24 hour display mode flashes. Set the desired display mode by pressing the UP or DOWN buttons and confirm your selection by
pressing the SET button. In Germany, the standard mode is "24 hr".
6.
The hours of the time start to flash. Set the desired value by pressing the UP or DOWN buttons and confirm your selection by pressing the SET
button.
7.
The minutes of the time start to flash. Set the desired value by pressing the UP or DOWN buttons and confirm your selection by pressing the
SET button.
The basic settings of the LCD are now complete.
Further settings:
You can now switch between the indoor temperature display in °C and °F by briefly pressing the UP button repeatedly.
You can now switch between the date and digital time display by briefly pressing the DOWN button repeatedly.
You can change the language of the displayed day of the week. To do this, press and hold the UP button for approx. 3 seconds. One of the
country abbreviations GER (= German), ITA (= Italian), FRE (= French), DUT (= Dutch), SPA (= Spanish), ENG (= English) now appears instead of
the day of the week. Now press the UP button briefly and repeatedly to switch between the languages. Your selection will be saved
automatically after approx. 10 seconds without pressing a button. The day of the week then appears again.
Safety instructions
Our appliance has been designed and manufactured in such a way that it will fulfil its purpose satisfactorily for many years if used properly. To
ensure this, please observe the following safety instructions.
Do not expose the device to extreme loads, such as vibrations, extremely high temperatures or extremely high humidity. This could result in
damage to the electronic components or individual components.
Never drop the appliance into water, as this could lead to complete failure of the appliance.
Never use abrasive cleaning agents or corrosive substances. This could cause irreparable damage to the appliance. Scratching plastic parts
or corroding circuits
could be the result.
Never open the housing as this will invalidate the warranty.
Radio-controlled wall clock with LCD

RESET
Press and hold the 'RESET' button with a pointed object for about 5 seconds. As soon as
you release the button, the watch will restart. The hands turn to the original setting of 12:00
and the radio signal is searched for again. After a successful radio signal search, the
current time is set automatically.
REC
To search for the radio signal again, press and hold the 'REC' button for about 3 seconds.
The second hand moves to 12:00 o'clock, the hour and minute hands rotate until the radio
signal found has been recognised.
SET
Press and hold the 'SET' button to set the time manually. After about 3 seconds, the hands
start moving and continue to do so for as long as the 'SET' button is pressed.
As soon as the button is released, the hands stop at the set time and after about 5 seconds
the time continues to run normally. Manual time setting is only recommended if the item
is out of range of the DCF-77 radio-controlled clock signal and automatic setting does not
work. As soon as the radio signal is within range again and has been successfully received,
the time is automatically adjusted to the second.
