The KeBin system can be operated in the network without this port, but the func- tions listed above are then not available. If video surveillance with a serial connection is used, the corresponding parameters for the serial interface can be configured here. Door module settings / Acknowledging (activating) a door module If a door module is removed and reinstalled or replaced with another door module, a simple visual inspection for tampering must be carried out before the installation.
  • Page 35 Web interface ● Door opener control duration: Minimum time (in milliseconds) for how long the door opener should be electrically activated (e.g.: 3000=3 sec.). The configured display time for the "Authorized" door module state can extend activation of the door opener but not shorten it. Signaling at the door module In this menu, you can change the signaling (display images, signal tones, color of the card entry slot, flashing frequency) for all operating states of the door module.

    Web interface Access control 5.6.1 Defining a card filter Select the [Key] item from the main screen. Then, select [Card filter] from the submenu. With a card filter you can define exactly which card numbers the door module will accept and which ones it will not accept.

In addition to predefined access groups, you can create your own access groups with the [ + ] key. Provide a self-explanatory name for the access group.

    Web interface Calendar 5.7.1 Defining day templates / week template / holidays Select the [Calendar] item from the main screen. Then, select [Day templates] from the submenu. Day templates In addition to predefined day templates, you can create your own day templates with the [ + ] key. Important: A full day (24 hours) must always be defined for a "day template".

Provide a descriptive name and define the desired time range. Assign the access rights (Open, Closed, Access with a card) for the respective time range. Select the authorized access groups.

Fixed and movable holidays as well as manually changed days are marked in the year overview. The color corresponds to the one defined in whichever day template is valid.     Web interface Door module log The door module internally logs all unusual events, but a card that is read normally is not logged. The central unit can retrieve these logs, this happens automatically once a day at around 3 o'clock in the morning. The door module notes the last retrieval and returns only new entries the next time a retrieval is carried out.

Then, select [SW Update] from the submenu. This function can be used to update the operating system of the KeBin central unit or the firmware of the door module.

    Press the [Save] key to save the settings. Add new language In order to create a new language, the latest language information file must be requested from the KEBA support. This file can then be translated and added as a new language.

The Import/Export function can be used to back up the KeBin system configuration or transfer it to multiple systems.

If necessary, change the settings for Access Log, System Log and the door module log.     Maintenance Maintenance Cleaning the door module The surface of the door module does not usually require cleaning since the materials are resistant to con- tamination by design. If necessary, clean the surface of the door module with a damp cloth. Use a mild cleaning agent if needed.
