Parts included (Figure 1)
A: 4 aluminum master tubes with two plug connectors each, with sand groove*
B: 4 aluminum corner tubes
C: 4 aluminum corner extension tubes
D: 12 spring clip pins
E: Sufficient BUNGEE-SNAKES to secure the fabric
6x6 = 24 pieces
8x8 = 32 pieces
12x12 = 48 pieces
*Sand can penetrate standard connectors and cause them to jam. But with this special SUNBOUNCE
innovation, the grains of sand are diverted by turning the tubes slightly, and jamming is prevented.
Assembly (Figure 2)
When assembling for the first time, follow steps 1 - 12. This is quickest and
Ÿ
easiest. After that assembly will be intuitive.
Each of the corner tubes (B) with extension (C) (attached to the short side of
Ÿ
the corner) forms a corner of the frame with two sides of equal length.
Then the master tubes (A) are used to connect the four corners, forming the
Ÿ
complete frame. Each of the master tubes has two plug connectors. The
master tubes are the same length for all three frame sizes.
First put together two complete frame halves, then slide the halves straight
Ÿ
into one another. This way they won't jam.
The innovative spring clip pins (D) are used to secure all the parts. They
Ÿ
ensure a fixed point. When the frame is disassembled, insert the pins into
the holes on the connectors to prevent them from getting lost.
The respective screens are initially fastened loosely to the frame with
Ÿ
BUNGEE-SNAKES (E) and, once all of the bungees are in place, adjusted until
the fabric is free of wrinkles. (two BUNGEE-SNAKES per corner - Refer to
Figure 3)
TIP: If you wish to leave the BUNGEE SNAKES attached to the screen all the
Ÿ
time, tie them to the eyelets, just behind the head.
Securing
If possible, fasten the frame to the master tubes (A) (Refer to Figure 4) using
Ÿ
our GRIP-HEADs ENTERPRISE (710-200). The GRIP-HEAD ENTERPRISE (710-
200) fits well and secures the round SUNBOUNCE tubes without damaging
them. Do not use products that squeeze the tubes! If you are working with
four tripods, you can fasten them anywhere you would like. But please avoid
squeezing the tubes near the connectors.
Disassembly
Reverse the assembly steps and pull apart the two halve frame parts. If you
Ÿ
are working alone, pull the first half, then the second half, then the first half
again to separate the connections.
Then take apart the other pieces and insert the spring clamp pins in the
Ÿ
holes on the connectors.
