Hardware

Structure

Button Function

1. Power Switch
   1. Short press once: bright screen / break screen
   2. Long press: power on / off
2. Universal Key
   1. Press once: Go back to the previous step
   2. Press twice: return to the desktop

Mode of Interaction

Glasses Legs Touch

1. Left touch area
   1. Double-click: Show / hide the control center
   2. Single finger up and down: adjust the screen brightness
   3. Slip back and forth: adjust the volume
2. Left touch area
   1. Click: OK
   2. Double click: Return
   3. Up/down/front/back slide: Move the selected items
   4. Double fingers sliding back and forth: fast move selected items

Voice Assistant

1. "Settings" - "sound and gesture", open "Wake-up Free Commands"
2. In daily use, say the 16 command words on the screen, and the glasses will automatically recognize your speech and respond

Control Ring

1. Long press OK in the middle (6 seconds) until the blue light flashes.
2. Open the AR glasses, press the universal button of the glasses to the home page, find the "Settings" - "Bluetooth", open the "INMO Air" Bluetooth switch, and wait for a few seconds.
3. The glasses interface will prompt "Match with the device INMO Ring 2 Bluetooth", then slide the mirror leg to the left, select "Pair", and the connection is successful.

Tip: If the Bluetooth "INMO Ring 2" of the ring is not displayed, try step 2 again.

System Function

INMOLENS APP

The APP is an official auxiliary tool for the operation of the glasses. Please install it in time.

• iOS version can downloaded the APP directly in the appstore

Wi-Fi

Support for 2.4 GWi-Fi and 5 GWi-Fi

1. Find [Setting] - Click [WLAN]
2. Click the Wi-Fi name you want to connect, enter the password, and click "OK" to connect to the Internet
3. You can also connect to the INMOLENS App and click "WLAN Settings" - "One-click distribution network" to connect to the Internet

Bluetooth

1. Enter the "Settings" page of the glasses and click "Bluetooth"
2. Click on the name of the Bluetooth device you want to connect to, and click "Pair" to connect to the Bluetooth

TIPS: If you switch from connecting mobile phone A with Bluetooth to mobile phone B, you need to unbind the connected device

Control Center

1. Double-click the left mirror leg to enter the "control center" of the glasses
2. Adjust the single-binocular mode, volume, and brightness of the glasses
3. Quickly set the Bluetooth, geographic location status
4. Quick access to the screen projection function

Sound and Display

1. Find "Settings", click "Sound & Display"
2. You can independently adjust the volume, brightness, display mode, display time and indicator light of the glasses

Language / System Update

1. Find "Settings", click "About"
2. You can set up the system language, and view the model and memory of the glasses
3. If there is an update to the glasses system, you will also receive an update reminder on this page.

Weather

1. Find "Settings", click "Location"
2. With location, the glasses home page can show the weather conditions in your current location

Laboratory

1. Find "Settings", click "Laboratory". After turning on the headset mode, the glasses can listen to the Bluetooth music of the phone / answer the phone address book
2. Slide the glasses leg and hang up the call from the mobile phone address book.
3. Some mobile phones need to turn on the call audio permission when pairing the device
4. Double-click the right mirror leg to return to the desktop and keep the call.
5. If you need to go back to the call page again, double-click the left mirror leg, enter the control center, and quickly enter the call page

Application Function

Install the app in glasses Appstore

1. On the home page of the glasses, open the App Store
2. Click any app to go to the download page

Uninstall / Top Up the Software

1. Open the "Application Library" on the home page of the glasses
2. Select any application, long press the mirror leg, you can enter the uninstall page
3. On the front page of the glasses, select a software, long press the right mirror leg, you can choose to move the software away from the common / top / uninstall

Photography/Videography

1. Open the Camera app on the glasses home page
2. Click on the mirror leg to take a picture
3. Sliding mirror legs can enter the album and view photos / videos
4. On the album page, click the delete logo in the upper right corner, slide down the mirror leg, select the photo / video you want to delete, and click the mirror leg to delete.

Screen Projection

(Same Wifi Between Glasses and Phone)

1. Click "Cast Mirror"on the home page of the glasses, and keep that page.
2. IOS cellphone open "Screen Mirroring", it will pop-up INMO AIR2, click to connect.

File Transfer

(Same Wifi Between Glasses and Phone)

1. Transfer photos from glasses to cell phone:
   1. Connect the glasses to the phone"INMOLENS APP" through Bluetooth
   2. Open the INMOLENS APP on the phone, click the navigation bar at the bottom "glasses" > "File Transfer", click "Start transmission", and the photos in the glasses can be automatically transmitted to the phone.
2. Transfer photos from glasses to computer:
   1. Connect the glasses to the computer through the data cable and find the "Air2" disk, "CameraV2" folder
   2. Copy the photos from "CameraV2" folder to your computer

Screen Capture

1. Connect the glasses to the phone INMOLENS APP through Bluetooth
2. Open the INMOLENS APP, click "Screscreenshot" to save the screenshots to the phone album

Message Reminder

Android

1. Open the INMOLENS APP and click on "Mobile Phone Notification"
2. Select the app where you want to push the message notification, open the notification permission, and the glasses can receive the mobile app message

iOS

1. Open the INMOLENS APP, click "Mobile Phone Notice", open the notification switch, the phone will pop up the pairing request, click "pair" and "allow" respectively, the glasses can receive the message notification from the phone (must pop up two requests to be the effective connection)

Navigation

1. Open INMOLENS APP and click "Navigation"
2. Enter the destination, click "Start navigation", and the glasses can automatically synchronize the navigation screen

Translator

1. Open the translation app on the glasses home page
2. After clicking the mirror leg or pressing the ring OK key, you can set the language you want to translate.

Prompt

Files can be transferred to the glasses via the INMOLENS APP

1. Connect your computer to your glasses through cable, find the "INMO documents" folder, and drag the document into the folder (currently only txt is supported)
2. Open the "document" application on the glasses home page
3. Open the document, the upper and lower buttons can scroll the page, and the left and right buttons can enlarge / shrink the screen font.

Document Editing

1. Open the "document" application on the glasses homepage
2. Click "+" in the upper right corner to create a new document
3. You can change an existing document by clicking the Edit icon in the upper right corner

Watch Video

1. Open the Video application on the glasses homepage
2. Click "My" to enter the personal account login page
3. Click "Login Now", select "Enter Login", you can log in your personal account to watch the video

AI Assistant ChatGPT

(The first 1000 free use, please buy according to the glasses prompts)

1. Open the "ChatGPT" on the glasses homepage
2. Press the ring OK button, voice input your question, press the ring OK button again, you can talk to the AI assistant

Install Other Applications

Enabling Developer Mode

Navigate to Settings > About > My Glasses, Long press the right touchpad for 1.5 seconds on the INMO Air2 twice to access developer mode activation.
Enter the password: 20210108
Developer mode will now be activated and communication via ADB enabled.

Windows Developer Environment Setup

Download the compressed zip folder below and unzip it to a destination of your choice.
Download: https://developer.android.com/tools/releases/platform-tools
Note: Deleting this folder will cause your ADB setup to stop functioning.

PATH setup

Copy the path of the unzipped platform-tools folder.

Use [Windows key] + [S] shortcut to search for [View Advanced system settings] and press enter.

The windows icon key is usually marked with [WIN] or [Windows logo].

Within the System Properties window, click [Environment Variables].

Find [PATH] within the System Variables section and double click to edit.

In the Edit System Variable window, specify the value of the PATH by pasting in the location of the unzipped platform-tools we copied earlier.

Close all remaining windows by clicking OK

Use [Windows key] + [r] shortcut to open the [Run] dialogue box, enter [CMD] and press enter to open the command prompt window.

Check if ADB is setup correctly by typing [adb] in command prompt and pressing [enter]

The following statement should appear, indicating successful installation of the ADB environment.

How to install APKs

Download the desired APK from a trusted source and connect your INMO Air2 device to your computer via USB.

Use [Windows key] + [r] shortcut to open the [Run] dialogue box, enter [CMD] and press enter to open the command prompt window.

Type adb install and drag the APK file you wish to install into the command line window.

After dragging the APK into the window, the file path of the APK will be automatically copied into the Command Prompt window. Press [ENTER] to commence installation.
"Success" will appear after successful installation of the APK on the Air2.
