Instructions for 18650 li-ion battery tray
Procedure for starting the heating tank for 18650 li-ion batteries
1) Insert only 12 equally fully charged batteries with the plus side down.
2) then insert the plug with three gold pins into the 3 DC socket connectors
Correct insertion is signaled by a short sound, which also means that the test procedure lasting
about 10 seconds has started. After this signal appears, the container should be closed
immediately by screwing in the bottom with two o-rings.
The test procedure leads to:
- checking the correct polarity of the batteries in the compartment – whether all batteries are
inserted equally, with the plus side down.
- checking the contacts between the batteries.
If the procedure is successful, a long signal will be emitted and the power supply to the
regulating controller will be turned on.
if the procedure is not successful, 6 short sound signals will be heard, after which the power
supply to the control controller will not be turned on
You should then remove the plug and check whether all the batteries are inserted correctly and
repeat the test after inserting the plug.
- When closing the battery compartment (version with inserted batteries), pay special attention
to the condition of the sealing O-rings and the absence of contamination., you should also
periodically lubricate the O-rings with silicone grease and clean the RCA connector with an
electrical contact cleaner.
-The battery must be protected against shocks such as falling from a height.
-It is unacceptable to leave batteries in a closed car in the summer, protect the cells from
overheating.
The 18650 Li-ion batteries are charged separately after removing them from the compartment.
NOTE: It is not allowed to charge batteries in the separately inserted Li-ion 18650 battery
compartment via the E/O connector.
- Pay special attention to the way the cells are inserted into the container, all of them with
the plus side down.
- The batteries must have the same charge level, loading the container with a single
uncharged cell together with charged cells may result in their destruction.
All batteries should be the same, same type, capacity, from the same manufacturer.
- For transport purposes, it is recommended to remove the three outermost batteries, or
alternatively use an insulating spacer.
It is recommended to use rechargeable batteriesNCR18650B Panasonic 3400mAh Li-Ion 3.7V
6.8A or similar
Note: 18650 Li-ion batteries (protected) are slightly longer and cannot be used in a
compartment.
