General safety rules "WARNING!When using electric tools basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and personal injury, including the following. Read all these instructions before attempting to operate this product and save these instructions.

  • Page 5 2. Additional Safety Rules for dust collectors Woodworking can be dangerous if safe and proper operating procedures are not followed. As with all machinery, there are certain hazards involved with the operation of the product. Using the machine with respect and caution will considerably lessen the possibility of personal injury. However, if normal safety precautions are overlooked or ignored, personal injury to the operator may result.
  • Page 6 The application of this machine a) Purpose of this machine: Basically this dust collector was designed to be connected to the woodworking machine so as to collect the wood chip produced during operation. b) The following items are prohibited for this machine. -operating machine without going through this manual.
  • Page 7 <5> Compressed air: This machine requires compressed air to be connected for the drum lid to function. Connect your compressed air to the fitting located on the switch plate on the motor (shown below). A pressure regulator valve is supplied to keep the compressed air supply at 2kg/cm2 (1.96 bar) for lifting the drum lid.

  • Page 9 11. Assembly To assembly your dust collector, do these steps: For your own safety, do not connect the machine to the power source until the machine is completely assembled. Please also make sure that you read and understand the entire instruction manual. Top filter housing assembly 1.
  • Page 10 5. You will find two tripods with handle shakers that must be assembled to the top filter housing cover on each side. Note that the tripod with handle is to be assembled to the opposite side of the motor/fan housing. This is to allow you to manually shake to clean the top filter bags. The second tripod without a handle is to be assembled to the same side as the motor/fan housing.
  • Page 11 Filter housing assembly 7. Position the forklift underneath the filter housing, in the location shown below (circled in red below). 8. Remove the two bars attached to the filter housing acting as temporary stands. (Your filter bags will have been pulled up and assembled, the picture below is to show the temporary stands purposes only.) These are only for packaging purposes and must be removed to assemble the fan housing.
  • Page 12 10. Lift the fan assembly with the motor facing down and the inlet facing upwards, using a second forklift to the same height as the filter housing assembly. Bolt together using (16) 3/8”*1” hex bolts, (32) 3/8” flat washers and (16) hex nuts. Leg stand assembly 11.
  • Page 13 12. Lift up both fan housing and filter housing to height that can allow you to assemble the lower leg stands. Use (24) 3/8”*1” hex bolts, (48) 3/8” flat washers and (24) hex nuts for all four lower leg stands. You can remove the forklifts from under the housings after completing this step. 13.
  • Page 14 15. Assemble the drum alignment support brace to rear end of lest stands using (4) 3/8”*1” hex bolts, (8) 3/8” flat washers and (4) hex nuts. Make sure the brace with L-bracket is facing the left side when facing the rear end of the machine (as shown in picture below). This acts as a guide for the drum when aligning it back under the machine.

Take the front panel with window and attach to the base panel and secure using (6) 5/16”*3/4” hex bolts, (12) 5/16” flat washers and (6) 5/16” hex nuts.Make sure the base panel has the casters with brakes facing the same side you are attaching this front panel with window. Caster with brakes 19.
  • Page 16 20. Take the rear panel and and attach to the drum assembly. First secure to base panel using (6) 5/16”*3/4” hex bolts, (12) 5/16” flat washers and (6) 5/16” hex nuts. Then secure to the flat side panel by first using (3) 5/16”*3/4” hex bolts, (6) 5/16” flat washers and (3) hex nuts on the lower three bolts holes.
  • Page 17 22. Take the upper drum frame and cap over the four panels. Secure using (24) 5/16”*3/4” hex bolts, (48) 5/16” flat washers and (24) 5/16” hex nuts. 23. Take the left and right safety bracket and attach to the drum assembly using (4) 5/16”*3/4” hex bolts, (8) 5/16”...
