- Page 3 Operation Before use, the barrel must be cooled down considerably and vented. The rotating vent at the top of the barrel is then removed from the plug (by hand or with pliers). The vent is then carried out. Please note that for barrels with black vent No. 1, the piercing is more difficult, and the pipe cannot yet be pressed in.
