Power
After you have supplied the device with power via the power supply
connection socket on the rear panel, set the power switch to the '●'
position.

Use only the supplied power adapter!

On/off button
To switch the appliance on, briefly press the on/off button. To switch the
appliance off, press the on/off button for approx. 5 seconds.

Serial configuration interface RJ45 (CONSOLE)
Maintenance interface for expert configuration. Not necessary for initial
commissioning.

USB 3.0 interfaces
Connect USB storage media or USB printers to the USB interfaces.
Before initial startup, please make sure to take notice of the information regarding the intended use in the enclosed
installation guide!
Operate the device only with a professionally installed power supply at a nearby power socket that is freely
accessible at all times.
The power plug of the device must be freely accessible.
Please note that support for third-party accessories is not provided.

Reset button
Pressed up to 5 seconds: device restart
Pressed and held until the ETH and status LEDs light up orange for the
first time: Reset the configuration and restart the device

TP Ethernet interfaces
Connect the ETH 1 - ETH 4 TP Ethernet interfaces to other network
components using suitable Ethernet cables.

SFP+ interfaces
Connect the SFP+ interfaces SFP 1 and SFP 2 to other network
components using suitable SFP(+) modules.
Please observe the following when setting up the device

→ When setting up on the table, use the enclosed self-adhesive rubber pads, if applicable.
→ Do not rest any objects on top of the device and do not stack multiple devices.
→ Keep all ventilation slots of the device clear of obstruction.
→ Rack installation with the included LANCOM Rack Mount 2100
