Camera Power Cable
For use with all Series 2 NEXTBASE Dash Cam models
These instructions provide the necessary information
to install the OBD-I1 Power Cable properly and safely
within your vehicle. Before beginning the installation
process, please read these instructions carefully.
WARNINGS
When installing this OBD-II Power Cable in your vehicle,
you must ensure that you:

install the power cable so that it does not interfere with
any vehicle operating controls.
If you are hindered from correctly accessing vehicle
controls whilst driving, it may cause an accident, which
could result in injury or death.

Route the OBD-II cable so that it does not interfere
with the deployment of airbags installed on your
vehicle.

CAUTION
Ensure that you check the warranty status for your
vehicle before you install the OBD-II Power Cable. Some
manufacturers may prohibit the use of OBD-II
connections which could void your warranty agreement.
Nextbase is not responsible for any costs or expenses
associated with void warranties or vehicle repairs.
If you experience any change in your vehicle's engine
performance after connecting your OBD-I1 Power Cable,
you should disconnect the device as soon as it is safe
to do so and contact Nextbase Technical Support.
DO NOT CONTINUE TO USE OBD-11 POWER CABLE
IF VEHICLE ENGINE POWER IS AFFECTED.
Ensure that 'Parking Mode' is turned ON in the
Dash Cam settings.
OBD-
II Power Cable will provide power to your Series 2
Dash Cam until the host vehicle's battery drops below
a certain level. This minimum voltage cut-off is 1 1.0Vdc
for a 12V battery and 23.0Vdc for a 24V battery.
NOTE BATTERIES 1N POOR CONDITION MAY NOT
PROVIDE THE REQUIRED CURRENT (AMPS) TO START
YOUR CAR IN SPITE OF VOLTAGE PROTECTION
Careless use of the cable tidy tool (supplied with your
Dash Cam) near airbag curtains must be avoided.
