Q161 Oscillator Mixer
Use the Q161 Oscillator Mixer next to your Q106 oscillator to easily create new
waveforms. Simply select the amount of Triangle, Sine, Ramp, and Pulse waveforms
used to contribute to the final waveform which is available at 2 connectors.
The Q161 is connected to the Q106 oscillator using cables behind the panels. Re-
quires exchanging connectors on the Q106 oscillator. Soldering not required. Does
not interfere with use of a Q141 oscillator aid.
Specifications
Panel Size: Single width 2.125"w x 8.75"h.
Signal Levels: 10V PP.
Power: +15V@30ma, -15V@30maNone.
Installation
The Q161 normally mounts to the right side of a Q106 Oscillator. Four jack assem-
blies are provided which are made to replace the Triangle, Sine, Ramp and Pulse
jacks on the Q106 and provide a cable to connect to the Q161. Each new jack as-
sembly has 2 cables – one short one for connection to the Q106 and one long one
which connects to the Q161. Remove each of the 4 waveform jacks from the Q106
and replace it with a new jack assembly and connect the short cable to the same
place on the Q106 as the old cable. Then connect the 4 long cables to the Q161 ac-
cording to the drawing below.
