2684- AND 2685-TYPE
1. GENERAL
1.01
This section contains identification, installation,
connections, and maintenance information
for the 2684- and 2685-type telephone sets. These
sets are 18- and 30-button, respectively, CALL
DIRECTOR® telephone sets which are intended
solely for use with specially engineered lines-not
for general telephone use.

This section is reissued to:
• Add 2684AM- and 2685AM-type (modular)
telephone sets
• Show 2684A- and 2685A-type telephone sets

• Add 656A, 657 A, and 657B keys
• Show 697A headset adjunct MD
• Show 3B speakerphone system MD

Since this reissue covers a general revision, arrows
ordinarily used to indicate changes have been
omitted.

The 2684AM- and 2685AM-type modular
telephone sets replace the 2684A-(MD) and
2685A-(MD) type telephone sets, respectively.
