    Non-Contact AC Voltage Detection (NCV): Measures AC voltage >30V- 1000V/50Hz-60Hz. Set the dial to the DC or AC voltage measurement function according to the voltage being measured.
  • Page 17 4. Discharge the capacitor of the circuit being tested and disconnect the circuit. 5. Connect the black test lead to the lower voltage side of the circuit being tested. Connect the red test lead to the higher voltage side (connect the test leads in series with the circuit).

    Note: ⚫ If the circuit has severe leakage (approximately ≥15V), the instrument will also give an audible and visual warning when the red test lead touches the neutral wire. ⚫ Detection results may be affected by factors such as socket design, insulation thickness, and material type.
