Surface skimmer AZOO Skim 250
Description:
• Built-in water pump for powerful suction of the surface layer.
• Safety strainer for fish and invertebrates.
• Adaptive suction level through a strainer buoy.
• Adjustable flow rate and flow diffuser.
• Built-in mechanical filtration.
AZOO Skim 250 is a surface skimmer for planted and reef aquariums from 10 to 250 liters assisted
by a pump of only 4.5 watts. It is suitable as a filtration accessory in planted nano aquariums.
The water surface inevitably accumulates dust, impurities, and organic matter, which creates a
grease that prevents proper gas exchange on the water surface. Compared to traditional hang-on-
back filters, the AZOO Skim 250 surface skimmer can effectively remove and dissolve this surface
film ("Slim") that forms in the water.
The filtered water outlet of the pump has a flow diffuser that promotes water circulation in the
aquarium without causing CO
"Slim" layer from the surface and increasing circulation without breaking the water surface creates
a very healthy and convenient environment for aquatic plants.
Features:
Floating strainer with a buoy to automatically adjust a constant suction level, adapting to changes in
water level caused by up to 5 cm of aquarium water evaporation.
Special safety strainer and filter sponge to prevent the accidental suction of small fish, shrimp,
mollusks, and other invertebrates.
Adjustable flow rate to properly adjust it to the size of each aquarium.
Transparent filtration chamber to check the condition of the filter sponge without having to
dismantle the skimmer.
Very easy and quick to install and maintain.
In planted nano aquariums, it serves as the main filtration system.
Instruction Manual:
