The 145A test
set
is
a
portable,
battery
powered
test set
used
for
testing operations
associated
with
construction,
installation, and repair.
These
testing
operations
include
resistance
measurement,
detection
of
ringer
on the
line,
measurement of de
voltage,
pair
conductor
length
measurement,
direct reading open
fault
location,
tone
source
generator,
ac
voltage
measurements,
line
current
measurements,
circuit
loss
measurement
at
1000
Hz, and circuit
noise measurement.

is battery
powered and
