Operation Instruction

1. Use a USB Type-C or Lightning cable to directly connect the KA1 to devices like a mobile phone, tablet PC,etc.
   • There may be a compatibility issue for some devices due to system and hardware differences.
   • The OTG function of some mobile phones may need to be enabled manually in order to use the KA1 normally.
2. The KA1 can be connected to computers of Windows 10 (18.3 and later versions) and Mac OS without a driver.
   • The USB-A to Type-C adapter included in the accessory is designed for the USB-A port.
   • When playing music on the computer, please select the KA1 as the output device.
3. When working in the Exclusive USB Audio Access Mode, the volume adjustment of some devices may not work. Please make sure the volume is appropriate before wearing headphones.

4. The indicator light of the KA1 can display the sampling rate of the current playing song, listed as follows:

   Indicator light	PCM < 48kHz	Blue light on
   	PCM>48kHz	Green yellow light on
   	DSD	Green light on
   	MQA Rendering	Magenta light on

FiiO KAI includes MQA Renderer technology, which can connect to an MQA Core signal and complete the final unfold of an MQA file. This product will include 'stream lock' but is not able to decode an MQA stream or authenticate it.

Notes and Precautions

1. If the KA1 is charged through the USB of mobile phones or computers, it will consume their power.
2. Since the KA1 features a high-performance DAC/Amp chip, it is normal that heating would occur during use.
3. Please adjust the volume to a suitable level before wearing headphones so as to protect your hearing.
4. Please do not wear headphones when plugging in or unplugging the headphones in case there may be a sudden impulse noise damaging your hearing.
5. Please do not repair or disassemble the product on your own and please keep it away from water.
6. For your safety, please avoid using headphones in dangerous environments.

Authenticity Checking

1. Scratch off the coating to get a 20-bit security code.
2. GO to FiiO official website at www.fiio.com. Click the 'Check Authenticity' icon in the upper-right corner, and then enter the 20-bit security code and 4-bit verification code. You will get the checking result after clicking the 'query' icon.
3. Checking result:
