GIO USB
USER GUIDE
OVERVIEW
Gio USB is a surface-mount USB-to-Dante endpoint, enabling 2x2 channels of USB audio to be
transported over a standard Ethernet network. With a slim profile and PoE-powered, Gio USB is easily
and discreetly mounted under tables, within lecterns or behind a display.
Gio USB is often used for connecting room PCs, UC appliances or BYOM devices such as laptops to
room audio systems over a single category cable where having a digital signal processor for direct
connection in the same location is not feasible. Optimized for UC-conferencing, Gio USB features
volume and mute-sync with Microsoft Teams over HID, as well as volume sync for PC and Mac
computers.

    GIO SERIES | USER GUIDE GENERAL SETTINGS Under the General Settings Tab, the Device Name shown in the Device Tile can be updated by selecting the Modify button next to the Device Name field. General settings also include details on Serial Number, MAC address, model and Firmware Version.

    GIO SERIES | USER GUIDE USB CONFIGURATION The USB Name of Gio USB may be configured to allow clear identification when selecting a USB device from the host computer. A best practice is to set the USB name to the name of the room (i.e. 'Room 201') to simplify the experience for the room user in selecting the room audio system in their PC or UC application.
