Pairing and Connecting with a Smartphone

The operation to register the device that you wish to connect to is called "pairing". First, pair a device to use it with the headphone for the first time.

Before starting the operation, make sure Of the following:

  • The smartphone is placed within 1m (3 feet) of the headphone.
  • The headphone is charged sufficiently.
  1. Press and hold the button On the head phone for about 3 seconds until the red and blue light flash alternately, you will hear the voice guidance say, "power on".
  2. Make sure the headphone is in Bluetooth mode.
    Note: Switch the "Bluetooth mode" and the "Dongle mode" by long press the button for 3 seconds, you will hear the voice guidance say "Bluetooth mode" or "Dongle mode".
  3. Open the Bluetooth function on your smartphone and click H300 on the list. The headphone and smartphone are paired and connected with each other. You will hear the voice guidance say, "connected"

Pairing and Connecting with a Computer/ Laptop which Built-in Bluetooth Function (Windows)

Before starting the operation, make sure of the following:

  • Your computer has a Bluetooth function.
  • The computer is placed within 1 m (3 feet) of the headphone.
  • The headphone is charged sufficiently.
  • The operating instructions of the computer is in hand.
  • Depending on the computer you are using, the built-in Bluetooth adaptor may need to be turned on. If you do not know how to turn on the Bluetooth adaptor or are unsure if your computer has a built-in Bluetooth adaptor, refer to the operating instructions supplied with the computer.
  1. Press and hold the button on the headphone for about 3 seconds until the red and blue light flash alternately, you will hear the voice guidance say, "power on".
  2. Make sure the headphone is in Bluetooth mode.

  3. Open the Bluetooth function on your computer and find H300 on the list.

Before starting the operation, make sure of the following:

  • Your computer has a Bluetooth function.
  • The computer is placed within 1 m (3 feet) of the headphone.
  • The headphone is charged sufficiently.
  • Depending on the computer you are using, the built-in Bluetooth adaptor may need to be turned on. If you do not know how to turn on the Bluetooth adaptor or are unsure if your computer has a built-in Bluetooth adaptor, refer to the operating instructions supplied with the computer.
  • Set the computer speaker to the ON mode.
  • If the computer speaker is set to the "OFF" mode, no sound is heard from the headphone.

  1. Press and hold the button on the headphone for about 3 seconds until the red and blue light flash alternately, you will hear the voice guidance say, "power on"
  2. Make sure the headphone is in Bluetooth mode.
    Note: Switch the "Bluetooth mode" and the "Dongle mode" by long press the button for 3 seconds, you will hear the voice guidance say "Bluetooth mode" or "Dongle mode".
  3. Register the headphone using the computer.
    • Select [System Preferences) - [Bluetooth] from the task bar in the lower right part of the screen.

    • Select [H300] from the Bluetooth screen and click [Connect).
      If Passkey (*) input is required, input "0000" The headphone and computer are paired and connected with each other. You will hear the voice guidance say, "connected".

    • Click the speaker icon in the upper right part of the screen and select [H300].

    • To set your paired COOSII H300 headphone as the default audio device for the computer:

If you'd like the headphone to be the default audio device, open System Preferences.

  • Click the Sounds icon.
  • Click Output, and then select H300 headphone.
  • Click Input, and select H300 headphone.

Before starting the operation, make sure of the following:

  • The computer is placed within 1 m (3 feet) of the headphone.
  • The headphone is charged sufficiently.
  • The computer has a USB slot
  1. Plug the COOSII USB Dongle into your computer
  2. Press and hold the button on the headphone for about 3 seconds until the red and blue light flash alternately, you will hear the voice guidance say, "power on".
  3. Make sure the headphone is in Dongle mode.
    Note: Switch the "Bluetooth mode" and the "Dongle mode" by long press the button for 3 seconds, you will hear the voice guidance say "Bluetooth mode" or "Dongle mode".
  4. The headphone and the Dongle will be automatically be connected with each other within 3-10 seconds, you will hear the voice guidance say, "connected".

Turn on/off Microphone

Short press button for turn on/off the microphone, you will hear the voice guidance say, "microphone on" / "microphone mute".

Charge the Headphones

Charge the Headphones

  1. Plug the small end of the USB cable into the micro-USB connector on the right earcup.
  2. plug the other end into a USB wall charger or computer that is powered on.

Note: While charging, the battery indicator red. When the battery is fully charged, and the indicator (red) turns off automatically.

Symptom Solution

Headphones don't power on

Headphones don't connect with your mobile device

  • Check the state of the status indicators.
  • On your mobile device:
    • Disable the Bluetooth feature and then re-enable.
    • Delete your H300 wireless headphones from the Bluetooth list on your device. Connect again.
  • Move your mobile device closer to the headphones and away from any interference or obstructions.
  • Connect another mobile device.

No sound

Power on the headphones and charge the battery.
  • Increase the volume on your headphones, your mobile device and music source.
  • Move your mobile device closer to the headphones and away from any interference or obstructions.
  • Use a different music source.
  • Connect another mobile device.
  • If two mobile devices are connected, pause your other device first.
  • If two mobile devices are connected, move the devices within range of the headphones (30 ft. or 10 m).

Poor sound quality

  • Use a different music source.
  • Connect another mobile device.
  • Move your mobile device closer to the headphones and away from any interference or obstructions.

Battery won' t charge

  • Secure the ends of the USB charging cable.
  • Try another charging source.
  • If your headphones have been exposed to high or low temperatures, let the headphones return to room temperature and try charging again.

    • Turn the volume down on your device before placing the headphones in/on your ears, then turn the volume up gradually until you reach a comfortable listening level.
  • Do NOT use your headphones while driving for phone calls or any other purpose.
  • Do NOT use the headphones if they emit any loud unusual noise. If this happens, turn the headphones off and contact COOSII customer service.
  • Remove headphones immediately if you experience a warming sensation or loss of audio.
