GETTING TO KNOW YOUR CONTROLLER

Overview

Appears when you're setting the clock

ON The time you want your light on

CH1 The brightness of White and Red LEDs

CH2 The brightness of Blue LEDs

OFF The time you want your light off

Used for increasing hours, minutes and intensity

Used for decreasing hours, minutes and intensity

Used for entering and confirming the settings

DEFAULT LIGHTING SCHEDULES

PROGRAMMING PROCESS

  1. First Time Setup
    When using your controller for the first time, press and simultaneously, and hold them down for 3 seconds to reset the timer. This resets the unit to default factory settings.
  2. Set the Clock
  • Press and hold for 2 seconds until you see the clock icon blinking.
  • Press + and — to adjust to the hours.
  • Press to advance to the minutes setting, press + and—to adjust the minutes.
  • Press . The time will beset and will advance you to the ON time setting.

information NOTE: If you are using the pre-programmed times, you are now set and the fixture will turn the channels on and off based on the pre-programmed settings.

  1. Set the Timer
    If you are changing the pre-programmed settings, proceed to program your desired settings.


When you toggle through the programming, don't leave the fixture idle for more than 30 seconds. Otherwise, you will need to start over.

  • Press after setting the clock, the LCD display will flash "ON" and a time. Press + and — to set hours; press to save the hour setting and press + and —to set minutes. This is when you would like your LEDs to turn on.
  • Press, the LCD display will flash "CH1". Press + and — to set CH1 light brightness.
  • Press the LCD display will flash "CH2". Press + and — to set CH2 light brightness.
  • Press , the LCD display will flash "OFF" and a time. Press + and — to set hours; press to save the hour setting and press + and — to set minutes. This is when you would like your LEDs to turn off.


If the timer is disconnected from power supply, its clock will be immediately lost and the timer will need to have its clock set when it is powered up again.

information NOTE:

  • The sunrise and sunset time is 30 minutes under any light brightness.
  • "ON' and "OFF" will flash on the LCD display when the light is ramping up/down.
  • The sunrise begins at the START time.
    For example, if you program the light to come ON at 09:00 AM with a 30-minute sunrise, the light will reach the set brightness at 09:30 AM.
  • The sunset begins at the END time.
    For example, if you program the END time at05:00 PM with a 30-minute sunset, the light will be completely out at 05:30 PM.

MANUALON/OFF

If, at any time, you wish to turn your light on, simply press.

Press again to turn the light off. Press to resume the normal timing cycle.

information TIPS: The manual mode lighting brightness is 100% without dimming.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS


To guard against injury, basic safety precaution should be observed including the following:

  • Never operate a fixture that is damaged or malfunctioning, discontinue use immediately and return the appliance to an authorized service facility.
  • Ensure your hand is dry when turning the power switch on/off and when inserting/removing the power cord from the receptacle.
  • If the light falls into water, do not reach for it, unplug it and then retrieve it. If the electrical components of the appliance get wet, unplug the appliance immediately (Non-immersible equipment only).
  • Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
  • The operating voltage must be compatible with the transformer voltage requirements.
  • A G.F.C.I (Ground fault circuit interrupter) & surge protector is recommended for all electrical appliances.
  • Ensure the fixture is securely installed before supplying power to the unit.
  • Don't look directly into the LEDs.
  • Drip loops should always be used to help prevent water from traveling along the cord and coming into contact with an electrical outlet. Drip loops must always be below the level of the outlet. If the plug or outlet does get wet, DO NOT TOUCH the cord. Disconnect the fuse or circuit breaker that supplies power to the system. After disconnecting the power, unplug and examine for the presence of water.

information TIPS:

This product is recommended for use over acrylic or glass-covered aquariums.
