Hardware required to complete installation will vary based on trailer make and model. Consult with manufacturer or dealer before installation.
Note: Quick ProductsTM recommends grade 5 hardware, as well as star washers to ensure metal-to-metal contact between jack and coupler for proper grounding. Hardware from previous jack may be used if it is grade 5 and in good condition.
Installation Instructions
Read all information included before beginning installation.

- Compare the lift capacity of the Quick Products TM with your trailer to ensure safe operation.
- Park the trailer.
- Block or chock the wheels.
- Use jack stands to support the trailer tongue.
- Remove old jack and hardware if necessary. Remove the old jack from the coupler. Save the washers and bolts.
- Place the electric jack into the jack hole. Align the bolt holes so the motor housing faces forward. (See picture.)
- Secure the jack using hardware recommended for trailer make and model. Place star washers between flat washers and mounting plate as shown in picture. Star washers ensure metal-to-metal contact for proper grounding. Tighten bolts to 15-20 ft lb.
- Quick Products requires a lower support plate for safe operation. Do not operate the jack without one. If necessary, install lower support plate in bottom of trailer frame.
- Route the black wire lead from the plastic cover along the trailer towards the battery. Attach the wire lead to the trailer using cable ties.
- Install the fuse holder as close as possible to the positive terminal of the power source by crimping or soldering the connections.
- Connect the wire lead from the fuse holder directly to the positive (+) terminal of the battery. Reconnect the battery ground cable.
If an extension wire is necessary, it must be at least #10 gauge. - Check installation by activating the motor switch. The jack should travel in both directions.
Operating Instructions
Operating Notes & Warnings:
![]()
DO NOT attempt to stack blocks under the jack's foot. This will not safely increase the height of the jack. ![]()
DO NOT retract the jack past the STOP limiting mark, damage to the jack may occur. ![]()
Before driving ALWAYS completely retract the jack and remove the foot or position it in the highest position. ![]()
DO NOT insert manual handle without disconnecting jack from power source. - Under heavy use, the motor may switch off if the circuit breaker opens. The circuit breaker will automatically reset in 15-30 seconds. Release the operating switch, wait for the circuit breaker to reset, and resume use.
- In case of power loss, disconnect jack from power source, remove the round plastic cap on the top of the jack, insert the included manual crank and rotate to extend or retract.
- Helpful Hint: Turn light switch ON in low light or for night hookups.
Extension
- Park the trailer.
- Block or chock the wheels.
- Before using the jack, attach the foot with the 3/8" locking pin.
- Extend the jack by pushing the operating switch UP.
Retraction
- Push the operating switch DOWN to retract the jack.
- The jack will slow as it approaches the retracted position. Release the switch at first sign of slowing.
Maintenance
The jack motor is sealed and maintenance-free. It is important to maintain the electrical system. Ensure all connections are tight and free of corrosion and that the jack is properly grounded with the coupler (metal-to-metal contact). Make sure the battery is fully charged prior to use. If necessary, wash thoroughly with mild soap and water. Do not direct high pressure spray on the jack.
