GETTING STARTED BATTERY REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION 1. Make sure the unit is turned OFF. 2. Locate the battery cover on the back of the unit. Use a screwdriver to loosen the screw and then open the battery cover. 3. If used batteries are present, remove these batteries from the unit by pulling up on one end of each battery. -

Remove the body cover by pulling open the hook and loop fasterner, followed by disconnecting and pulling out the internal electronic module (see image). 2. To reattach, align the plush exterior tabs to the moon circle located on the chest of the kitten and press together (see image).

PRODUCT FEATURES 1. On/Off/Mode Switch To turn On the unit, slide the On/Off/Mode Switch located on the electronic module to Melodies with Cat Purr , Nature Sounds or Melodies To turn the unit Off, slide the On/Off/Mode Switch to the Off position. - Page 9 Moon Button once again. 7. Automatic Shut-Off To preserve battery life, the Calming Purrs Kitten will automatically power down after the selected time duration. The unit can be turned on again by pressing any button or sliding the On/Off/Mode Switch.
