tips
• The food type, cooking time or temperature can be reset at any time during the
cooking process.
• This appliance is equipped with an automatic preheating function. "PREHEAT"
appears on the display (9) during the preheating process. The cooking process
starts once the cooking temperature that has been set is reached and the
preheating process has ended.
• If no further buttons are pressed after selecting the food type or setting the
cooking time/temperature, the device starts operating automatically after
approx. 3 seconds.
• If the hot air frying baskets (12) are removed during operation, the cooking
process is automatically paused and the word "OPEN" appears on the
display (9). The operation continues once the hot air frying baskets (12) are
inserted into the appliance once again.
• If no further operation takes place after pressing the Start/Pause button (to
pause the cooking process) or removing the hot air frying baskets (12) (during
operation), the appliance automatically switches off after a certain period of
time.
• Shaking the food is recommended for some types of food (see the "Cooking
instructions" table). An acoustic signal sounds after 2/3 of the total cooking
time and the Shake button flashes rapidly to remind you to shake the food. This
optimises the cooking results and can prevent food from being fried unevenly.
Once the food has been shaken and the hot air frying baskets (12) have been
placed back into the heating chambers (6), operation continues, and the Shake
button remains continuously lit.
• Add a little oil to fresh potatoes for a crispier result.
• Place a baking or oven dish into the hot air frying baskets (12) to bake a cake/
quiche or to deep-fry delicate/stuffed food.
• Do not use the appliance to prepare extremely fatty foods, such as sausages.
• Snacks that can be prepared in a normal oven can also be prepared in the
appliance.
