    Product Introduction AutoStep® series is a kind of equipment which can help passengers get on vehicles easily, such as cars, public bus, taxi, ambulance and so on. This step, with loading capacity of 250 kg, can work steadily, reliably and safely. We have different steps with several specifications, which can meet different requirements.

  • Page 11 Step 3: Adjust the 4 mounting brackets to proper position.  Step 4: make holes at the corresponding position to mount this step.  If you cannot make holes on vehicle chassis, you must use come brackets to dock the brackets on step.

    4.4.2. Electrical Installation First please read the attachment of electrical diagram and fully understand it. We supply an eight-core harness which is used to connect with vehicle. Electrical installation:  Line 1: connect with positive pole through 15A fuse. Be sure that the positive pole should be supplied through vehicle start key and hand brake.
  • Page 13 This step meets the requirements of IP57. In order to prevent the connector from being soaked in water for a long time, you can fix the control box to a higher position. Please make sure to fix the connector at safe place. If the working condition is not good, please move the controller to a safer location of the vehicle.

    4.4.3. Final Adjustment Be sure this step has been installed correctly according to the steps above, then fill in the Test Records After Installation. Refer to attachment 2. Adjustment: First, refer to electric diagram to check if the step harness is collected correctly. If something is wrong, correct it.

    5.2.2. Manual Operation for Emergency This step can be manually operated for emergency in case it has something wrong or vehicle harness in fault or power failure. IF STEP HAS SOMETHING WRONG, PLEASE DO NOT USE IT AND REPAIR IT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, OTHERWISE, WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE LOSS.

    7. Maintenance Regular maintenance for AutoStep® will optimize its performance and reduce the needs of repair. Please do regular inspections according to the attachment 3 and then fill in it. 7.1. Cleaning Clean this step once a month. If possible, clean it more frequently. If this step works under poor environment, it should be cleaned every day.
