PowerBack.
Please
read
this
instruction
manual before
using
the
PowerBack,
and follow
the
instructions.
Using the PowerBack with
your Genesis
Nomad,
you can enjoy
hours
of continuous gameplay
at home
or
on the move!
Note:
If you
have
purchased
the PowerBack model
MK-6102,
you
will also need
to purchase a Genesis 2 AC
Adaptor (MK-1639)
or
Game Gear
AC Adaptor (MK-2103) to recharge your
PowerBack.

WARNING
1.
Never place
metallic
objects across
the PowerBack connector
terminals,
and
do
not carry
or
keep
the battery with metallic pens, necklaces, coins or pins,
as
it
may
cause
electric
shock, and
you may
short
circuit and
damage the PowerBack.

Do not
expose your PowerBack
to
rain,
water, high
humidity or
other
moisture,
as it may
cause
electric
shock
or damage the PowerBack.
3.
Use only a Genesis 2 AC Adaptor (MK-1639)or Game
Gear
AC Adaptor
(MK-2103) to charge your
PowerBack. Other types
of
adaptors may
cause electric
shock, and will damage
or
destroy the
PowerBack.
4.
Do
not
try to
disassemble or
alter
the
PowerBack,
as
there is a
risk
of electric shock.
5.
Do
not
dispose of the PowerBack in an
open
fire,
as
there
is
a
possibility
of
explosion.

CAUTION
Please be aware of the points below. Ignoring the
following
instructions
can
result
in
damage to
the
Genesis
Nomad PowerBack.
1.
Switch the
Genesis
Nomad unit
OFF
before you
attach or
remove the
PowerBack.
2.
Make
sure
the
PowerBack is
completely
out of power before
recharging
it.

.
Do not unplug the PowerBack while
recharging.
4.
Unplug
the
PowerBack from the AC Adaptor
as soon as the
PowerBack unit has recharged.
(Don't
forget to
unplug the AC Adaptor
from
the wall
socket
after use.)
5.
The PowerBack
slowly loses
its
charge when
not used
for
an
extended
period.
If you
haven't
used
the PowerBack
for
a
long period of
time,
please
recharge before
use.

.
If
you
are
not
planning to use the Genesis Nomad
for
an extended period
of
time, detach the
PowerBack from the
Genesis
Nomad and store both units in a
cool
,
dry
place.
7.
Avoid placing the PowerBack in
extreme
heat,
such
as in a
hot car
or direct
sunlig ht.
Also avoid
dust
and
extrem
e
cold.
8.
Do not drop
the
PowerBack
or
subject it
to
shocks.
9.
Use
only
a
soft,
dry
cloth
to
clean your
PowerBack
.
Using
solvents,
cleansers
or soap damages
the
unit.
10.
Charge
your
PowerBack
fully
before
use
(including first
time
use).
