ARINC 818-2 Single Channel Converter 2.3 Guidelines for connecting HDMI cable to HDMI Port System has HDMI input port and HDMI output port as shown in figure below. Based on the hardware configuration either HDMI input port will be functional or HDMI output port will be functional. HDMI input port is fixed to 1920x1080@60, that is, full HD at 60 frames per seconds.

Configure Eth1: To use Eth1 for accessing the web application, first connect to the SCC card via Eth0 (as described in the section 2.5 Ethernet Setup) to configure the IP settings for Eth1. 2. Connect your computer or the SCC card’s Eth1 port to your organization’s network using an Ethernet cable.

ARINC 818-2 Single Channel Converter 3.3.2 ARINC Transmitter The ARINC Transmitter page allows user to configure and control the ARINC 818 transmission settings, including selecting the source, adjusting resolution, and configuring the video timing parameters to ensure optimal transmission performance.
ARINC 818-2 Single Channel Converter 3.3.2.1.1 HMDI Input To convert HDMI input to ARINC output select HDMI Input option as shown in the Figure 15. Figure 15: Transmitter Source Component - HDMI input This option consists of two labels, HDMI-In Resolution and Cable Status. HDMI-In resolution label displays the current resolution that is being sourced to HDMI input.
ARINC 818-2 Single Channel Converter 3.3.2.1.3 Video File To convert Video File data to ARINC output select this option as shown in the Figure 17. This option consists of storage Media select drop-down menu, File Name select drop-down menu, Video resolution label and Encoder label.
ARINC 818-2 Single Channel Converter 3.3.2.2.1 Standard Resolution Configuration Standard resolution is the list of pre-defined resolution with video timing details calculated using CVT-RB standard. To configure standard resolution, select the Standard Resolution option as shown in the Figure 18.
ARINC 818-2 Single Channel Converter 3.3.2.2.2 Custom Resolution Configuration The Custom Resolution option allows users to manually input their own resolution and video timing parameters. By default, the application calculates the initial video timing values using the CVT-RB standard, but users can adjust these values according to their preferred video timing standard or specific requirements.
ARINC 818-2 Single Channel Converter • SOF Class: This drop-down consists of the list of SOF class supported by ARINC IP. User can select any of the listed SOF class from the list to configure ARINC output with a particular SOF class ordered set.
ARINC 818-2 Single Channel Converter 3.3.3 ARINC Receiver The ARINC Receiver page allows user to configure and control the ARINC 818 Reception settings, including selecting the video output port, selecting the video output resolution, and controlling the video stream from ARINC Receiver to video output interface.
ARINC 818-2 Single Channel Converter • ARINC Rx Color Format: Displays the current color format being received by the ARINC receiver, indicating the encoding format of the input signal. • Video Out Port: This drop-down list is used to select the video output port. This option will be limited by the user’s choice of SCC card configuration.
ARINC 818-2 Single Channel Converter 3.3.4 ARINC Recorder The ARINC Recorder page enables users to configure and manage the settings for the ARINC 818 Recorder. This recorder captures video data received by the ARINC receiver and saves it as an encoded video file. Users can easily adjust recording parameters and control the recording process, ensuring accurate and efficient video data capture from the ARINC 818 interface.
ARINC 818-2 Single Channel Converter It consists of the following components: • ARINC Rx Resolution: Displays the current resolution being received by the ARINC receiver, providing real- time information on the input signal's resolution. • ARINC Rx Color Format: Displays the current color format being received by the ARINC receiver, indicating the encoding format of the input signal.
