The better the characteristic to absorb heat (the higher the emissive value), generally the more accurate the temperature reading. The DDT installed in the K1000 ELITE assumes an emissivity of 0.95. That is, for objects with emissivity of 0.95, the DDT will return temperature readings accurate to within 10% of the actual temperature.

12. DIGITAL FRAME CAPTURE (OPTIONAL) ISG’s Digital Frame Capture option allows firefighters to capture up to 500 BMP images in the camera’s memory. To save an image to memory, press and release the YELLOW button. The screen will hold the image about 1 to 2 seconds.
