The wiring connections for Gent 32000 standalone smoke and heat detectors involve connecting the loop cables to the sensor terminal plate. Each detector must be fitted to a terminal plate in a location specified by site-specific information. The terminal plate includes:

- Elongated fixing holes for loop cable (L1 and L2) entry.
- Connection points for loop cables.
- A metallised coating to ensure base earth continuity to the loop cable screen.
- OV (common ground) connection point.

The terminal plate is fixed to a ceiling tile or suitable surface, and loop cables (such as MICC, FIRETUF, etc.) with 2-core plus screen and 1.5mm² cross-sectional area per core are used. Proper tools and techniques must be used during installation to avoid damaging components.
