IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Check if the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds to the local main voltage before
connecting the appliance.
2. Check the condition of the power cord regularly. Do not use the appliance if the plug, cord or
appliance is damaged.
3. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by professionals to avoid hazard.
4. Keep the appliance away from the water. Do not use it close or over the bathtubs, sinks or other
vessels containing water. When used in a bathroom, unplug the appliance after use since the proximity
of water presents a risk, even when the appliance is turned off.
5. Keep the appliance out of the reach of children.
6. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given
supervision or instruction, concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards
involved.
7. The heating plates and joint plastic parts can reach a high temperature quickly. Prevent heating
surface of the appliance from contacting the skin.
8. Only use the appliance on dry hair.
9. Do not leave the plates on hair for more than a few seconds at a time, as this may cause damage to
hair.
10. Keep the appliance away from non-heat-resistant surfaces and never cover the appliance with
anything (towel or cloth) when it is hot and heating.
11. Always unplug the appliance after use.
12. Wait until the appliance has cooled down before storing it.
13. Keep the heating plates clean and free of dust, dirt, styling spray and gel. Never use the appliance in
combination with styling mousse, spray, gel, etc.
14. Do not attempt to repair the appliance by yourself. Always return the appliance to the authorized
service center for examination or repair.
