  • Page 3 Quick Start Guide Thanks for your recent purchase of the Cyclone Nut Rake (CNR). We think you’re really going to enjoy using it. This Quick Start Guide will give you a few tips to make sure it performs perfectly. Your Cyclone Nut Rake will come set up to pick up smaller nuts with a diameter up to 1 inch. If you need to pick up larger nuts, we’ve included spacer wheels which easily install on your CNR and let you collect larger nuts including hickory, chestnuts, black walnuts and sweet gum balls...even golf balls.
  • Page 4 Spacer Wheel Instructions The Cyclone Nut Rake is a versatile tool that will help you collect a wide variety of nuts (and other items) that are on the ground. To get the maximum effectiveness from the tool, please review the information below regarding use of the spacer wheels.
  • Page 5 HERE'S WHAT YOU GET Pickup Wheel Spacer Stack Wheels Frame Handle Bar Spacer Combs Cyclone Nut Rake Assembly Video Instructions, Allen Key & Spare Parts ASSEMBLING YOUR CYCLONE NUT RAKE The Cyclone Nut Rake Wheel Stack comes pre-assemble to pick up Small Nuts up to 1" diameter with the Nut Rake, just follow these steps to add the handle bar: Tools Required: Two 1/2-inch wrenches or sockets.
  • Page 6 ADDING ONE SPACER WHEEL To pick up Medium Nuts 1" to 1.5" diameter with the Nut Rake, just follow these steps: Tools Required: Two 7/16-inch wrenches or sockets. Phillips head screwdriver Allen Key (supplied) 1. (Fig. 1) Remove the bin and gently turn the Nut Fig.
  • Page 7 8. (Fig. 6) Now, replace the shim, the plastic bush- Fig. 6 ing, and the nut and bolt you removed earlier. NOTE: The pickup wheels should move easily around the axle with a bit of a push. If they are too tight remove the shim. If they spin too freely add another shim.
  • Page 8 Reinstall the Extractor Bar Assembly with Fig. 12 Spacer Comb back onto the Frame: 14. (Fig. 12) Locate the 2 mounting bolts you removed earlier. With your Nut Rake Frame still upside down, position the Extractor Bar Assembly with the comb-side facing the floor onto the frame.

Here are a few tips and tricks to make sure your nut gathering goes as smoothly as possible: • To gather the most nuts in one go with the Tow Behind you should drive your mower at a speed that’s the equivalent of a swift walk forward.
