    TROUBLESHOOTING 3. Make sure that the outlet receiver is used in an area with proper air circulation to avoid overheating. Regularly change the battery in the remote control for optimal performance. If the outlet switch does not respond or the LED indicator on the remote control becomes dim, replace the battery.
