Unpack the Components Use caution when unpacking the components. You do not want to damage or misplace items. Find a clean, clear space. Consider unpacking the components in the area where you are going to assemble the unit. The fewer items you must move, the fewer opportunities there are to lose, or damage components.

Assembly Instructions Assemble the Mounting and Fixed Base Plates to the Reel: The Hose Reel is shipped in a disassembled state to protect the components during shipping. Begin assembling the Hose Reel by attaching both Fixed Base Plates to the Mounting Plate using the supplied fasteners.

Installation of the Hose: 1. Securely mount the Hose Reel to the wall, ceiling or floor. 2. Facing the 3/8 NPT Swivel Fitting side of the Reel: Turn the Drum clockwise by hand, until the rewind spring is tight, and the Drum has latched. As an extra precaution while installing a new hose, secure the drum in the latched position.
