  • Page 9 Circuit protection When overload or short circuit happens, all outputs will be turned off, the power indicators will flash at the same time, KP5 will restart every five seconds to until short circuit or overload has been lifted. Choking Hazard KP5 and small parts included with KP5 may present a choking hazard or cause other injury to small children.

    Maintain a safe distance of separation between your medical device and KP5. Consult your physician and medical device manufacturer for information specific your medical device. Stop using KP5 if you suspect ther are interfering with your pacemaker, defibrillator, or any other medical devices.
  • Page 11 Note 1. Each output terminal of this model has independent output power protection and short-circuit protection. Meanwhile there is a general power protection mechanism. The power of the load connected to all ports cannot exceed the defaulted output power. Otherwise, the corresponding port will turn off. When the UPS is over loaded, the 4 power indicator lights will flash at the same time and all output ports will turn off.
