    Operation Procedure Follow the procedure for proper operation. CAUTION Improper operation can cause mechanical failure or injury to operators. 1. Supply air This machine requires an air pressure of 0.6MPa. Make sure the air pressure is 0.6MPa at the Air inlet air pressure gauge on the regulator.

    2. Supply steam ●Check whether steam with the pressure at 0.6MPa or more can be supplied to the machine. If the steam pressure does not reach required level, it may adversely affect the shirt finishing quality. Always check whether the steam pressure meets its requirement. ●It takes about 15 minutes until press heads heat up after steam is injected.

    ・When operating the machine, check the safety of the surroundings and be careful not to accidentally get your hands or shirt caught in the moving parts of the machine. CAUTION ・The area around the metal part of the iron is hot, be careful as you may get burned if you touch it with your hands when setting the shirt.

    Other Operations How to reset emergency stop Pushing the emergency stop button or safety bars will make all operations stop and will return the machine to the start position. The display will display“E 1” (Emergency button) “E 2”(Left safety bar)and “E 3 ”(Right safety bar). How to Release ・If you push the emergency stop button, turn the emergency stop button clockwise to release the lock on the button.

    Use the cover supplied by Sankosha. Using another company’s cover may give a bad finish. Sankosha takes no responsibility if you do not use factory original covers & padding. 1. Collar cover and pad. The cover tension rod contained in the removed color cover Caution will be reused.

    2. Cuff cover and pad ◎ If you want to continue after replacing the color cover, turn right the adjustment knob of the regulator, supply air to the machine. The middle press head opens. Keep the power off. ◎ If you want to replace only the cuff cover, turn off the power. The cuff cover has front and back.
  • Page 22 ④ As shown in the figure-1 below, place the cuff HR silicon 10 mm, cuff spring felt 13 mm, and cuff cover. Refer to Figure-2 for the positional relationship between cuff HR silicone 10mm and cuff spring felt pad 13mm. Insert the cuff cover tension rods on the front, back, left and right sides of the cuff cover, and then tie the string.

    Test Operation Before using the test operation, make sure there is no one working WARNING near the machine. The Test mode operation enables the machine to run each process while the machine runs all the functions continuously on the normal operation. It also works as “Input Test”, “DIP Function”, “Volume Function”, and changes the setting.

  • Page 26 :Panel button test ■ After selecting with the Enter button, you can check the electrical connection of the buttons on the control panel. While the button is pushed, the green light will light up and the display will show the position number of the pushed button.
  • Page 27 :Cover counter ■ Displays the number of presses of the cover currently attached to the machine. Reset this counter after replacing the cover. See page 18 for details on how to reset. :Press counter ■ Displays the cumulative number of presses performed by the machine so far. This counter cannot be reset.

    ◎During the operation, an error number shows up at the display window on the control panel if something is wrong. Check below List, and take the necessary action. Call your dealer or Sankosha if the normal operation does not resume. The inside of the electric box is very dangerous, do the work by a qualified WARNING person.
