Operation
Please read these instructions carefully before using the
Battery Charger/Power Adapter BC430.
To avoid electrical shock or fire, use the Battery
Charger/Power Adapter BC430 only as
replacement part if the BC430 is specified for
your Fluke instrument.
Use the supplied line plug adapter with this
instrument only.
To avoid electrical shock, connect the Battery
Charger/Power Adapter to the AC outlet before
connection to your Fluke instrument.
The Battery Charger/Power Adapter operates the
Fluke instrument from local line voltage.
Do not open the BC430, it is not serviceable.
The BC430 accommodates connection to various line
voltages, line frequencies and line power sockets
worldwide.
Therefore the adapter is equipped with a female plug that
must be connected to a line cord or line plug adapter
appropriate for local use. Since the adapter is double
isolated, the line cord or line plug adapter does not need
to be equipped for connection to protective ground.
Anyhow line cords with a protective grounding terminal
may also be used.
The Battery Charger/Power Adapter BC430 is equipped
with a switch, which allows selection of the voltage range.
