Do not install the product at the following locations: Near Fires Near chemicals (volatile Near Flammables materials, organic solvents, In Humid Places etc.) In front of air conditioners Near toilets Where exposure to rain or Anywhere the temperature snow is possible may fall below 50°F. -
Page 27: Filter Flushing Procedure
FILTER FLUSHING PROCEDURE Before starting the installation, any filters being used to filter the source water for the unit must be flushed. This is important to rinse any loose carbon or debris from the filters so that it does not plug another filter or membrane or end up inside the unit. DO NOT install and setup the unit before flushing the filters. - Page 28 4. Locate the Pre-Carbon filter (Second from the left) and look to the right side of the filter head. Disconnect the tube at the right side port of the sediment filter from the elbow fitting as shown. With an extra section of ¼” LLDPE tubing (about 2-5ft long), plug this into the elbow fitting on the right side of the filter head, and run the other end to a bucket or drain/sink.
- Page 29 10. The last filter to be flushed is the TCR, but it must be flushed with reverse flow. Move the Sediment filter to the second filter head (fig. 1). Then, swap the water source connection with the flush line connection (fig. 1). This will pipe water into the right side of the second head and cause it to exit out of the leftmost port as shown.
- Page 30 12. Using ¼”LLDPE tubing, connect the RO Drain port (if using RO configuration) on the unit to a drain or bucket. Remove the top cover of the unit by removing the two screws at the back of the panel, then sliding the top cover back and lifting off the unit. Disconnect the line coming from the end fitting of the filter bank, and using ¼”LLDPE tubing, connect that fitting to a drain or bucket.

Once the filters have been flushed or “rinsed”, installation can begin. Listed below are the steps to properly install and begin use of the Waterlogic WL50CT Water Dispenser. 1. To begin, you will need a ¼” LLDPE tube connecting the unit to a water supply, connected to the “Water In”... - Page 32 3. Check for any leaks on or around the filters and all connections. Check for any drips or puddles in the bottom of the unit. Ensure the leak stop is dry and in the downward position. 4. Once flow is established, water will make its way through the filter system and up to the Cold Tank, and flow downward into the Hot Tank.
- Page 33 9. Once flow from both tanks is verified, turn ON the switch on the back of the unit labeled “Hot Switch”. This will enable the hot tank functionality and begin heating the water in the hot tank. 10. Return any panels still off the unit to their original positions and reinstall the screws used to hold them in place.

AIR FILTER 3 Years It is imperative to regularly change the filters on the Waterlogic WL50CT unit. Changing the filters keeps the tanks clean and the water tasting fresh. Failing to change filters regularly can also cause premature degradation of RO filters, which can increase maintenance costs. - Page 35 2. Remove the filter access panel of the unit. Two screws down at the bottom of the panel must be removed. Then, lift the lower lip of the panel and pull outward. The panel should hinge outward, and then come away from the unit completely.

RESETTING THE HOT TANK OVERLOAD THERMOSTAT In the event of a “dry heat” scenario during installation, or if the water supply is blocked to the hot tank, overload thermostats are installed on the Hot Tank to prevent an unsafe heating situation and prevent damage to the unit. -

FINAL INSPECTION After installation and sanitization, verify the following: 1. There are no leaks or loose components. 2. The hot water is over 160˚F. 3. The cold water is below 50˚F. 4. Confirm acceptable product water flow. 5. If the system is not filling, then check the water supply and also make sure the leak stop has not been tripped. -

PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE The following is an outline of preventative maintenance that should be performed on yearly or semi-yearly basis to keep the unit running in top shape. 1. Change filters according to the filter change schedule. Always rinse new filters using the same procedure as the original filters. -
