CONNECTIONS Before connecting the AC cord The rated voltage of your unit shown on the rear panel is 120 V AC. Check that the rated voltage matches your local voltage. IMPORTANT Connect the speakers, antennas, and all other external equipment first. The optimal Dolby Pro Logic mode depends on the type and placement of the speakers. It is recommended that the optional Aiwa speakers should be used for all channels, for example, the SX-AVR2700 speaker system. Check your current type and placement of the speakers and select the recommended Dolby Pro Logic mode accordingly. -

ADJUSTING SPEAKER LEVEL BALANCE L—.——l unit is equipped with a built-in test signal generator called a noise sequencer for easy balance adjustment of all five channels. The sequencer outputs a noise signal that “travels” from channel to channel, enabling the simple adjustment of sound level to achieve the same apparent loudness, at your listening position, from t?ach channel. -
