Your new Trolley Jack is produced and manufactured to a high standard of dependability, and if correctly cared for will give you years
of trouble free performance.
IMPORTANT: READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY. NOTE THE SAFE OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS, WARNINGS AND CAUTIONS. USE
THIS JACK CORRECTLY AND WITH CARE FOR THE PURPOSE FOR WHICH IT IS INTENDED. FAILURE TO DO SO MAY CAUSE DAMAGE OR
PERSONAL INJURY, AND WILL INVALIDATE THE WARRANTY. RETAIN THESE INSTRUCTIONS FOR FUTURE USE.
1. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
! Ensure the Jack is in sound condition and good working order. Take action for immediate repair
or replacement of damaged parts. Use recommended parts only. The use of non Sealey parts
may be dangerous and will invalidate the warranty.
! Locate the Jack in an adequate, well lit working area for its function.
! Keep working area clean and tidy and free from unrelated materials.
! Use Jack on level and solid ground, preferably concrete. Avoid tarmacadam as Jack may sink in.
! Place wedges under wheels of vehicle (but ensure wheels of Jack can freely move).
! Ensure the vehicle handbrake is engaged (or in PARKED mode), and switch the engine off.
! Ensure minimum distance of 0.5m between vehicle tilt & static objects such as doors, walls, etc.
! Ensure all non essential persons keep a safe distance whilst the Jack is in use.
! Ensure there are no passengers in the vehicle to be jacked up.
! Place Jack under vehicle manufacturers recommended lifting points (see vehicle hand book).
! Check that the lifting point is stable and centred on the Jack saddle.
!Ensure the Jack wheels are free to move and that there are no obstructions.
!IMPORTANT ! During the jacking operation ensure that you can always see the vehicle to jack
saddle contact point.
FDANGER: Use the Jack for lifting only, NOT for supporting the lifted load.
! Use correct axle stands under the vehicle before proceeding with any task.
!Ensure there are no persons or obstruction beneath the vehicle before lowering.
! Use a qualified person to lubricate and maintain the Jack.
!Confirm that the recommended hydraulic jack oil is used during maintenance.
%DO NOT operate the Jack if damaged.
%DO NOT allow untrained persons to operate the Jack.
%DO NOT exceed the rated capacity of the Jack.
%DO NOT allow the vehicle to move during jacking.
%DO NOT use the Jack to move vehicle.
%DO NOT Jack vehicle which may result in spillage of fuel, battery acid, or dangerous substances.
%DO NOT work under the vehicle until Axle Stands have been correctly positioned.
%DO NOT use the Jack for purposes other than which it is intended.
%DO NOT top up system with brake fluid. Use hydraulic oil only.
%DO NOT adjust the safety overload valve.
!When not in use store Jack in a safe, dry, child proof area in the down position.

ASSEMBLY
2.1.
All Models
2.1.1 Line up the holes in the two piece handle and fasten with the assembly screw.
2.1.2. Loosen location bolt at the side of the handle base. Insert Jack handle and tighten the bolt.
2.2.
Model 3030CXD only.
Assemble Rocket-lift foot pedal arm on main lift arm support pin (fig 1.) and tighten assembly screw using a plain slot screwdriver.
3. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
3.1.
Before first use.
Before using the jack, purge hydraulic circuit in order to eliminate any possible air in the system
by turning the handle anti-clockwise to open, and pumping 8 or 9 times (fig 2).
3.2.
General jacking.

WARNING! Before lifting ensure chapter 1 safety instructions are strictly followed.

3.2.1. Prepare the vehicle as mentioned in the safety instructions ensuring the ground on which
the Jack is to stand is level and solid (not tarmacadam).
3.2.2. Position the Jack saddle under the vehicle manufacturers recommended lifting point.
3.3.
ROCKET-LIFT PEDAL. MODEL 3030CXD ONLY.
NOTE: You can use your Rocket-lift jack as a standard trolley jack with out the Rocket-lift
pedal. Should this be your intention please ignore references to the Rocket-lift pedal in the following instructions.
There are two methods of operating the rocket-lift mechanism to raise the jack swiftly to the designated vehicle lifting point.
3.3.1. Turn the jack handle clockwise until the valve is closed. Depress the rocket-lift pedal (fig 1) and the saddle will raise and stop once
contact is made with the vehicle lifting point. The saddle will then drop back about 60mm.
3.3.2. Alternatively, turn handle to the left so the valve is open, operate the foot pedal (fig 1) until saddle is at desired height.
Then close the valve quickly. This will avoid the saddle dropping back.
